Easter is my favorite Holiday. What it represents is so important. (I lalso like it because it is so much less commercialized than other Holidays.)
This Easter will be special because it will be the last Sunday that our long time Pastor will be preaching in our Church. He is moving on to another church in another state.
He is loved by all at our Church and it is a difficult time for our Church family. Although all wish him well, we are all saddened tremendously by his leaving.
He personally helped me and my family thru an extremely difficult time in our lives.
Happy Easter to all!

Pretty much like a regular Sunday around here. We'll go to easter services at church. I'm in the choir we have to do 2 services for the extra crowds, so it's a little more hectic. But I'll still get my Sunday afternoon nap.

Gonna be a different type of Easter here. It will be the first Easter Service at church we will be missing in a long time. We have our State Final game this coming Saturday Night at Conseco in Indy. We have booked a room at the Embassey Suites in downtown Indy right across from Conseco. Our neighbors are also going to be staying there so Im sure there will possible be some party time after the game if we win. or should I say WHEN WE WIN! Then we will drive back home on Sunday late morning to get to my parents house for Easter Dinner. Hope you all have a Nice Easter dont eat too many choc. bunnies and or peeps.....thats all i want for easter...so if you all are making up baskets for me....just fill'em wiht peeps! THanks I knew I could count on ya all..
Timmmayyyy!
Hoppy Easter! ehhhh corny I know...but what the heck....you expect any less out of me? LOL

Easter we will be spending some quality family time. Maybe go out to eat somewhere. Will go to an early Mass perhaps.

May go to my wife's family church. Maybe not. But definitely going over to my mother-in-law's house later in the day for a good cooked meal.

We'll be going to church unusually on a Sunday (we usually go to Sat service). Afterward we're going to Ruth Chris to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday.

AMEN to that!
I will be in church on Easter. I serve on the worship team as a vocalist, which I really enjoy. But after church I will be going with my stepmom to go over to my niece's house for a potluck lunch with the family. But whether or not it is a potluck, she always puts on a great spread of food. She truly has the gift of hospitality. Anyway, it will be a great time with the family and celebrating Christ's resurrection.
And for those Sly guys who don't celebrate the Christian aspect of the holiday, I hope you still have a great day with friends and loved ones!

This week is the busiest week of the year. I'm the "PianoMan" at my parish, and there's something going on every day this week. The week ends with Easter Vigil on Sat night and 2 masses on Sunday. Even though it's crazy busy I absolutely love it. Sunday afternoon will be spent having dinner with family.
Whatever you're doing, make it a great one. Enjoy your time with your family.
