Ok...now that I got you to click on this...
Any of you SLY guys know if I can deduct as a business expense:
Books purchased to bone up on my field (financial/retirement planning)?
Like...books on retirement products (Long Term Care, Life Insurance...etc..)
How'bout books on sales/marketing my practice?

I know that as a teacher I have been able to claim deductions for tuition and books IF it is required and used for job promotion, salary jumps, etc. Am even allowed to claim mileage to and from university if for the job.

I know absolutely nothing about fruited beer... However, I will have to say that California is a pretty fruity place so you Californians should definitely know about that!! ???
