Title: Mach 3 for Headblade
Post by: mojim on March 02, 2008, 09:46:12 AM
Do they make an attachment so that you can use the Mach 3 blade on the Headblade shaver?  I found that the blade that comes with Headblade clogs up very easily...

No they don't, but they do make an adapter for Sensor cartridges which are also opened back.
I don't think it's possible to adapt the Mach cartridge as the pivot mechanism is part of the cartridge.

Mojim, if you like a 3 blade razor you can try the Gillette Sensor Excel 3 blades which should be able compatible with the Sensor adaptor.  I have only used the Sensor two blades but have read good reviews of the Sensor 3 blades.  I am currently using the headblade triples and may try the Sensor 3's next.

I used to have a problem with the HB blades clogging. You have to hold them at an angle so the water is running down through the slots between the blades, not straight down on the blades

I use the Sensor Excel, which is 2 blades, but I love them!
