Hi all my name is Casey and im from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland..
Im a 29 year old Electrician with my own company called Casey Electrical
I found this site while searching google..
Thats me in my profile picture with my beautiful new niece :@` on her Christening Day.
I started to go bald when i was 21
I found it very hard to cope with the fact I was going bald at such a young age,I got some very hurtfull comments said to me..Some people think your less of a man if your bald :Xo!
I have learned to love the way i look now,and now that i shave my head totally i feel even better,I actually feel more manly..if that makes any sense ??
And the women i meet seem to love it too 8)
Some people are really stupid when it comes to baldness,Like why do people feel the need to tell you your going bald? Its like yeah duh!
I started answering people that said this to me with saying to them " Wow am I ? Jesus thanks for telling me only for you I'd never have known!"
A bit about myself....Well as i said I am a Electrican with my own company,I live in Dublin but I'm orginally from the midlands of Ireland.
I love U2,Guns n Roses, AC/DC,Oasis,The Cranberries and all that type of music,
Im a massive soccer fan and i follow Liverpool FC who play in England,I also love Golf but my main love is Gaelic Games which are the national sports of Ireland
Anyway thats a little bit about me..Is there any other Irish guys on this Forum ?

Hey Casey. I'm not Irish, but I'm new here today too. I live in the states in upstate New York. Never been to the Isle, but my wife and I would love to. Her family is from there and mine are from Scotland.
Anyway, welcome.

Greetings to you, friend.
I'm of Irish background too. I sometimes joke that half of Ireland immigrated to my home town in Montana, USA; a smelting / mining region.
I've immigrated myself now; to Saskatchewan Canada

Technically, you emigrate to another country.

I do not consider myself an immigrant, as usually that is a permanent move. I'm merely a long time resident.
I plan to return to the USA when my son is older to live.
Schro, BTW great pic of you and your boy, he bears a striking resemblance to you.

hi Casey.. glad to have ya here.. I'm also a electrician. iv told people that i think the reason i went bald was because i think i got shocked 1 too many times. now that I'm being careful I'm thinking my hair will grow back.
another time when i was trying to fix a electrical problem that a home owner totally screwed up. he took apart all the electrical connections apart in three junction boxes and put it all back together wrong i said if i had hair i would pull it out. here in the states in construction people are just cruel and i have just gotten to where it just doesnt matter what they say and roll with it and if your quick whited you can come back with some pretty good come backs and it shuts them up pretty fast.
my favorite ones is when someone gives you a bad time about being bald and then you look at their hair line and see they are looseing hair and you know they will be joining the sly real soon. im there to tell them about head shaving and they dont appreciate it at the time and they dont even want to talk about anything to do with hair and change the subject real quick. dish it out you had better be able to take it.
