Title: JDog performing an average cover song.
Post by: JDog on January 31, 2008, 03:38:41 AM
I just wanted to share a recent cover I did of the song "Demons Away" originally performed by Matt Skiba of Chicagos finest rock band Alkaline Trio. Sorry the damn video is out of sync with the singing, courtesy of a sub-par webcam.

Thanks to our Dear Leader Tyler for explaining on how to post YouTube vids. Enjoy!

Thanks for the words guys, I know there are a few parts in the song where I strum the wrong chord or sing out of key. I used to sing and play bass in a band but when we split up, i havent exercised the pipes in awhile. Will post up another 1 in the next fews weeks.

That is the beauty of rock and roll. All great punk/rock songs are only 5 chords.

Me too. We get together monthly usually at local coffee houses. More of a hobby now than any kind of lucrative gig.

Very impressive JDog. Good to see your SLY dome in motion. O0
Like you're choice of music too. Matt Skiba of Chicago's finest rock band Alkaline Trio......way to go!!
