I have ben using this for 2-3 months, and love it!
It is marketed as a razor bump and ingrown hair remedy. I buy at ealmart for 9 dollarsa and it lasts 2 months or so. It is a combinatopn of alchol, water, asalyalicylic acid, glycerin, tea tree oil, propylene glycol, willow bark, panathenol, and allatonin.
Ity stinks and burns initailly but with use the bumps and assocated irration dissapear.
my routine is as follows:
1. in a hot shower
2. mary kay exfolliant (from my wifey)
3. ZIRH face wash all over the head and face
4. Shave secret
5. Headslick
6. shave face first with the grain
7. Shave the head against the grain
8. wash with ZIRH again
9. Air dry
10. skin tight to face, neck and head
No moisturizers at all as they cause me to be very oily and get blackheads/acne.
how does that sound??

Great tip.
You should try the Mary Kay Mens after shave gel, works good on Head and face. (since you have the hookup and all).

Tried it too oily and the shacve cream made me itchy.

Nice! I'll have to pick some of that up next time I'm at wally world.

Do you have the liquid Extra stength or the tub of creme? I have both and the extra strength liquid is superior to the paste. This stuff does seem to work. But it brings the fire from hell at first.

Liquid only

I know everyone is different...different types of skin and so forth..but it just kills me to see how much prep and all you have to do to shave your noggin. I guess I am just one of the few fortunate ones who can jump in the shower...use regular body wash all over..even the head...then just apply headslick shaving lotion.....do a hot water rinse...then ice cube massage..then rub in a clear aloe vera gel lotion ( $1.99, large bottle from wally world) and im done.
By the way Scott...you mentioned that you bought some aloe vera gel...how is that working for you??

I wish I could get my head in that kind of condiditon. I hate using tons of products on my head. I wish my routine could be simple like yours Tim. It sux having sensitive weird skin.

Wish I had an answer for ya. Maybe you should just try the aloe and see how it works...have you tried altering the way you do things...dont do it drastically...but slowly ease into it....warm water pretreatment....headslick...then cold water rinse...then just plain clear aloe vera gel.

Hey Tim, loving the Aloe Vera gel I bought... nice cheap price and it's a huge bottle. I think what I like most about it is that it's not as watery as BG Moisturizing Gel and not as greasy. I'm still a big fan of the BG Gel, but I'm gonna be using the Aloe Vera for awhile since I ran out of the BG stuff. I just shave, hot water rinse, ice cube rubdown, aloe vera right as I'm going out the door.
-
told ya it was simple. I keep the gel in my fridge and get a lil dab on my out the door...rub it in and whats even better...what ever is left on your hands...just rub it in...makes a good hand moisturizer..

Hey guys new to the site. I was just wondering if tendskin was the same thing or just as good as skin tight?
-
the aloe vera gel, is it a particular product, where would i find it, i live in the uk, are there eny particuler brands?. O0
-
just any aloe vera gel, just make sure it doesnt have any fragrance or added chemicals. You will most likely find it in the sunbathing lotion section. Good Luck

Looks a real good regime Dave and glad it's working for ya. Shame about the moisturizer thing though. One thing I would say is be careful not to go overkill on certain ingredients like salacylic acid. There are a few skincare brands for example that use salacylic acid in their face wash, moisturizer, toner etc etc. U don't need something like this in every product use use. Medications like this , tea tree, BP are mush better if their applied through a topical or lotion like your doing with Skin Tight. Like I said though, if it's working for U then its working for U.
And I soooooo wish I could do things simple as well. Luck of the draw I guess.
Gardner, aloe vera u can get in loads of places, if you have a Holland & Barret near u, they've got a a good clear one. I'm currently using Fruit of The Earth's aloe gel coz I was informed this was amongst the best to buy but u can only seem to order it on line from the UK. After using nearly two bottles worth I think it's sweet as but not significantly any better than the Holland and Barrets or any local chemist varieties on the high street.
