Title: College Hoops
Post by: Scott on January 21, 2008, 12:26:48 AM
I know there's some college hoops fans among us SBG so let's hear some thoughts!

Tyler, I saw on SportsCenter where your Trojans upset UCLA - congrats bro.

Timmy, sorry (not really) your Tar Heels got beat (once again) by Maryland.  :*))

I don't have much room to brag - UK lost again > 7-9 now and 1-2 in SEC, with Tennessee coming in to whip us on Tues night ? I hope we can only lose by 20 or so.

Looking forward to more input from you guys!

scott....as u already know i'm a big FLORIDA STATE FAN!!!  GO NOLES!!!  however....we R currenty underachieving this year.  we have an awesome backcourt with jason rich, toney douglas, & ralph mims but we R only 12-7 overall and only 1-3 in acc play so far.  i'm a true noles fan win or lose.
however....i'm also a big college hoops fan.  there's nothing like watching a good college hoops game on tv.  i watched the game on espn between your kentucky wildcats and the gators.  that game went into OT.  i was hoping that your wildcats woulda won that one.

Me 2 Warhawk!  I kinda thought we might pull out a great road win when Bradley hit the 3 at the end of reg, but momentum was w/the Gators in OT.  Maybe we'll upset #3Tennessee tomorrow night?

Hahahahaha... for once, one of my predictions came true... my Cats upset UT and played great for once.  I was proud of my team tonight.

The Glory Days of college hoops for me were the early and mid nineties. I've been a staunch Kentucky Wildcats basketball supporter since I was 10 years old.

I hark back to the days when Rick Pitinio coached the Wildcats and they made it to the Final Four 4 years in a row. Tony Delk and Jamal Mashburn.

The legendary NCAA final where Christian Laetner won the game with a 3 pointer from way outside the arch.

Very happy Tubby Smith is gone.
