hello fellow chrome domes....just wondering....what is your current outside temperature as u R reading this thread/topic? i'll start: as i am typing this topic....the current temperature is 36 degrees and cloudy. that's pretty cold 4 beautiful pensacola, florida. (*!@ (*!@

Up here in the Witch City it is just about 17 Degrees Fahrenheit..
On sunday the high is suppose to be about 25-17 Degrees Fahrenheit with a low of 11 Degrees Fahrenheit..

In overcast Incheon, South Korea, it is 16 degrees Farenheit. With the wind coming from the Yellow Sea, the wind chill makes it feel like it's -3 degrees Farenheit. I'm ready to move back to Texas. 40 more days! (*!@ (*!@

Let's see.....I just got done with a week working in Beverly Hills O:O
I just finished two days golfing in Las Vegas 8) (shooting 76 and 77) and I just got back from the casino winning $125 while drinking MANY Ketel One/Rocks/Twists and getting TREMENDOUS headrubs from an extremely hot cocktail waitress at the Red Rock Casino. I would say my personal tempature is a smooth 75, but the gauge in my brother's Audi said 44.

It's nearly 3 pm now in HH and raining the whole day. Temp is 10 degree Celsius = 50 degree Fahrenheit.

Been away for a couple of days Quail Hunting. Crashed at the parental units last night since they have back up heat. Anyway, it's 33.3 here right now. Lot of ice and snow still around W Central GA

right now it is 6pm eastern time here in Indiana and the current temp is 19 with windchll of about 3. Suppose to get down to 7 tonight with windchill of -15 below. I dont mind winter...I just hate it when the Siberians send down their cold fronts just to let us know they are still alive up there..lol..

At the moment, Sydney is having a cool wet spell. Been around 60-65degrees F all week with quite a bit of rain. Normally this time of year you can expect lots of sun with temps around 90-100F.
I miss the brutal midwestern winters.
People in Sydney think 50F is brutally cold. They put on scarves,overcoats,beanies,gloves and Ugg boots when the mercury drops below 50F
Cold is when ice freezes 2 inches thick on your car so that you cannot open the door without hacking at the ice for 10 minutes.
Cold is the water in your pipes freezing and having to thaw them out with a space heater. Cold is your dog killing a squirrel while walking to get a cup of sugar from the neighbors house and having it be frozen solid 20 minutes later on the way back.
Cold is having the snot from your nose freeze into little icicles when you walk into the wind. God, I miss that.
You can have the sunshine and beaches, that sh*t is overrated anyways.

I'm about two SW from Chicago, and it's currently 11 degrees right now, and feels every degree of those 11. Supposed to get to a low of 8 degrees tonight. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 29. I envy those like Warhawk in sunny Pensacola, and JDog in Australia. I'd love to be somewhere warm right now. I'll have to make do with paying a lady friend a visit tonight, just to stay warm (wink, wink) ;) ;)

WELL... its now about 2;15am here in Detroit and its F**KN cold out there ! The winds kickin butt and with the wind chill its about -20 degrees the BIG problem is early lastweek it was like 65 degree'zbut i DO have to say, for the mostpart we've had a decent winter so farr . We'll geta LIlsno and then a couple days it warms up over 35 degreez or better so , we cant really bitch about that !!!

35 degrees here in Beautiful SW Indiana on a Monday January 21 at 9 pm. Forecast calls for temperatures to drop to 31 degrees with a 90% chance of 3-6 inches of snow by morning. YIPPEEEEEEEE....did i tell you all I love winter......NOT!

Was watching "March of the Penguins" with my kids last night and they had trivia-type questions at each commercial break.
Anyway, one of the questions was about the lowest temperature on record in the Antarctic region.
Answer: 128 degrees below zero on July 23, 1983

Saturday the high was 48 at midnight. It got colder and colder then it snowed all afternoon. We had 1" here in Griffin, which doesn't sound like a lot for all my Northern Sly Friends. It was a big deal here though. I'll try to post some pics.
Sunday, it never got above 30.

Australia Day is celebrated on the 27th so hopefully the weather will be nice.
As Australia is still technically under the British Commonwealth(Queen Elizabeth II is their head of state), they dont have an Independence Day to celebrate so Australia Day is where everyone celebrates their Australian-ness.

Geeze, don't get me goin on the temp. It's about-5 right now over here in NE Oregon. My nostral hairs freeze when I go ouside. The pipes are continuously freezing. I have gone thru 3 cords of wood in three months. I am so sick of the cold I could spit .. but it would probably freeze on my lip.

rafter....i'm not sure but those were the actual temps. at the time i posted according 2 the weather channel. beautful pensacola is located in the NW part of florida's panhandle. right now it is 10:06am & it is 37 degrees F with a high of 52 degrees F. i'm luving the "cool" weather. O0

High school buddy of mine had a heated indoor pool, His mom was secretly dating our principal. Old boy just looked the other way when we'd be passed out stoned or drunk. Was pretty cool. Once every so often they'd do random locker searches, some how we always seemed to get skipped over. blackmail rules!!!

We started out the day at 50 this morning at 7 am. By noon the temp had dropped to 18 and we had a 2 hour blizzard. Now it's just cold. Around 20. If you don't like the weather, just hang around for a couple of hours.....It will change.

We had a nice fast moving blizzard last night about 11:45. Streets and sidewalks covered with about an inch. By this morning it all melted and refroze. Had to drive to work in 4HI. Supposed to get nasty again Sunday or so.

28 degrees right now as I am typing this, it is beginning to sleet outside. We are in for a major winter storm here this afternoon. Calling for about a 1/4 of ice ..then to sleet , then all snow. could get anywhere from 5-8 inches by morning. its 930 am here and there are alot of kids that woke upset this morning. The weather was forecasted to get a huge winter storm last night with 5-8 inches along with ice and all that jazz. Well we woke up this morning at 630 with just rain. So the kids all got up ....whinning and stuff cause they had to go to school. at about 715 it started snowing a little bit....with some sleet. Kids waiting at the door for the 730 bus and 730 comes and goes..no bus. Turn radio on...1 hour delay. I was like well piss!....so I go to the gas station to get my stuff for work. Still snowing somewhat..nothing major....on my way back home....School now on a 2 hour delay. Im like what? what for, the roads arent even covered. 5 minutes later...UPDATE......SCHOOL IS NOW CLOSED! Im like well piss!
Walk in the house...told the kids well School is closed. they were all happy and cheering....wife sits there with the saddist look on her face. She has asked for this day off from work over a week ago so she could stay home and get some stuff done around the house. Well that just blew her day all to hell....I look at her...give her a kiss and said...well honey....look at it this way....at least you dont have ME home today with ya's. LOL I was told she didnt want to see me for the rest of the day! LOL....I said well I love you too honey....see ya later...and off to work I went...

Had same thing happen him Tim. Since I do not have a class till our second period I did not need to be at school until 9:30. Darn good thing. Got up and just came in from shoveling at 6:30 when the phone rang to say no school today. Normally I would have been out the door by 6:00 earlier. They didn't make up their mind to close until the last minute. Some folks were already on way to work battling the crummy roads when they got the call on the cell phone. Not complaining, great to have the day off and not have to drive in this mess.

All it takes down here is the threat of snow and the closings start flowing in on the radio and TV stations! Even if it MIGHT snow. Kinda crazy if you ask me.

It is brutal cold here now..the temps dropped from 37 degrees at 8 am this morning to a cold of 20....so everything is freezing up with ice on the road ways.....oh boy...Gotta love winter time. I guess I will get to go out and do some slip and sliding....lol

Thanks Paul. I appreciate that. Weather.com has a 10 day, but it is notoriosly wrong! Bet it won't be in the 70's here either. High 50's maybe. Secretly, I am kind of hoping for some snow. We don't get that down here very often.

WELL... here in Detroit we EXPECTED about 8/10"of snow , and as of about 430a we were getting it fast n hard. Since i work nights, when i DID get up about 2ish, there was ONLY about 3or 4" and nice fluffy snow but before i got it all cleaned up it started a lite rain and the snow got heavy real fast and it was about 30*. As the day wore on , it continued to flurry real lightly, but after 4 more hours it was still only a dusting , THANK GOD ! saturday its supposed to be about 35 and then mon/tues its supposed to be in the UPPER 40'z wed back in the 20'z :/O

We're finally getting a break from the recent rains....past few days have been awesome for early Feb.
Got some sun, things are drying out and fired up the grill. Yesterday it hit 65, maybe 62 today. Looking forward to spring!

11:35pm here in North Central IL, and it's about 15 degrees, with a wind chill of zero. Slow flurries right now, only supposed to get an inch. High around 20 tomorrow with another inch or so of accumulation.

10:07 am Feb 12, we have 1/2 of ice and it is 22 degrees. Its raining right now...but freezing on contact. Im here at work....getting ready to make the 5 block trip back to home. We didnt get the 6 inches of snow they forecasted but the kids got their wish...they are home from school today. Fun for me....locked up in the house on an icey winters day with three kids and a wife is going to make us clean the house from top to bottom....i think im coming down with the flu...lol...

It's a "top down day" 74 predicted high, then front from the North, and in the high will be 54 tomorrow. Not cold, like the north, but the constant changes in temp. and humidity is hell on the sinsus. We've got a lot of flu going round, due no doubt to the constant ups & downs in temp. and humidity.

The weather has been strange here in the east as well for August. Very cool nights, high 50's, and very pleasant days, low to mid 80's.
