Title: I did it again !

After a few months with a beard, I went bonkers with the razor again and took it all off.  Been getting a lot of comments on 'white hair and age." ....   Not so much "you look old with the white beard,"  but more like " people look older with grey / white"  ...  non-specific, but got me into that smooth = young mindset.  But it's not just that.   I get this odd charge out of seeing myself totally smooth.  Not sure how long this'll last.  I'll say one thing, though, I hate the transitional, 'scruffy'  phase of growing a beard; so maybe this WILL last ....

John, good to see you again.  I thought we were going to have to send a search party out for you.

I think a shaved head with any color facial hair is a good look.  White and grey adds a professional / distinguished quality.  But, it could be that I'm partial to my own white beard.

John, Great to see you back in the SLY neighborhood.  I always thought that you looked better with the beard, of some kind.  But I really know what you mean about the grey hair.  I have the same problem and it is one of the (many) reasons I never have much facial hair.

I wouldn't be afraid to experiment until you find the right look.

I get nothing but compliments on my SnP -- or perhaps the people that think it makes me look old are too polite to say anything?
