Title: Udder Delight (no kidding!)
Post by: triumphcorvair on January 08, 2008, 01:21:05 PM
I ran across this product a few years ago at the Tractor Supply Store called "Udder Delight", teat and udder cream.  :*)) Now I know you are probably thinking WTF (I bought it as a joke for my wife) but in my defense it did say it can be use for skin care.
Since the cold dry weather has been playing havoc with dry skin I searched the linen closet where my wife keeps all skin care products and I ran across the bottle of "Udder Delight"  So I think what the heck if its good enough for good ol' Elsie it should be OK.  Man let me tell you this stuff gets the job done and done fast.  It did an outstanding job in solving the dry skin issue and believe it or not It actually improved skin tone O0.  Now having used it everyday for two weeks I can without hestiation recommend this to my SLY friends!  This stuff works.  I just wish they would just  change the name O0

bag balm in the green can rules. it's readily available, cvs carries it, and lasts forever. a little goes a long way. i've had a 10oz. can for many years now. it's the consistency of vaseline and is great for any skin problems, although i wouldn't put it on an open wound. it does start to discolor and darken with age but it doesn't affect the quality.

Just throwing my hat in the ring for the Bag Balm... I like seeing peoples faces when you tell 'em the name..  Grade A product.. Just goes to show that sometmes the old fashioned stuff works better than the modern products..

I always preferred Boudreaux's Butt Paste for that affliction.

Boudreaux's Butt Paste http://www.buttpaste.com/BLButtPaste.php probably works too, but since it's a Cajun product no telling what's in it or if can be used to make a roux for your gumbo. ;D ;D ;D

My brother used Bag Balm for years to help clear up rashes on his skin...basically moisturizing them to get rid of them. Worked well, don't see why it wouldn't work on the head.

I bought this on a whim for the beard, and damn, it's great.  I shampoo up the face fungus, then use the remainder on the scalp.  After soaping up, and loofah treatment to scalp, and body, I rinse and use the conditioner, resoap the body, and then rinse the beard out, leaving the conditioner on the scalp.  I then rinse a small towel in very hot water, wrap it around the dome and dry off.  Then I get my brush loaded w/ some Headslick and baby oil, lather head and everything but the beard--shave.  The left over product on the brush goes back for a second serious against the grain after a spray of rubbing alcohol and get a super close shave that lasts until after work--8+hours.  Works for me.  The beard is soft, the dome is smooth--is there anything else to ask for???

We learned about Udderly SMOOth when we lived up near the Wisconsin (Hummmm, the Dairy State) border.  It is the best winter time hand cream we have ever used.  We used to have to go to Farm and Fleet in Woodstock (IL) to get it.
