What's up Sly Bros
I just switched my routine to shave in the shower. If any of you use a fogless shaving mirror can you let me know what kind it is and where you purchased it?
Thanks for any info in advance O0

I've seen them pretty cheap (under $10) at WalMart and am curious if they work well, too.
-
Thanks Rob, I tried Walmart and target today both told me they carried them but didn't have any in stock. I may have to try bath and bodyworks or one of those specialty shops.

... (forgive my audacity) ...
Why do you need a mirror? Don't you know where your head is without looking?
... (sorry, I had to say that) ...

I buy mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. O0

No problem Padre-I know it's all in fun. I actually am transferring from a sink shaver to a shower shaver and while I can shave the back of my dome by feel I have a couple of moles in the front of my dome I don't want to slice off!
Wolf-I think I am going to bed bath and beyond tomorrow to see what they have. O0

Bro BB&B is a awesome store actually. They have all kinds of gadgetry there that keeps me busy while the female looks at bed spreads and Fiesta ware!

OH My bad...i was thinking of Bath and Body works.....

Don't spend too much; the important thing is that it sticks. I have had a couple over the years, but even when it says 'fogless,' it never seems to be the case. My trick is to spit on the mirror, smear it, and then rinse it off. It should stay clear for the duration of your shower.

just a lil note from better homes and gardens: IF youll use just a dab of shaving cream to wash your mirror in the bathroom then when it gets hot and humid it WONT fog your mirror

Same here. It's rectangle and has 3 spots to hang a razor. Hangs my HeadBlade and Sensor razor perfectly!

I got mine for about $9 at the local Wal-Mart. it sticks to the shower wall with a supplied adhesive strip and has two "hooks" on it for holding razors.
Here's a hint for keeping it fog free while showering:
Take a paper towel and give it a pretty good spray with WD-40 (yes the lubricant). Wipe the entire "glass" portion with the WD-40.... give it a good wipe and get all areas of the glass. Wipe off any residual WD-40 so the glass is clear. The mirror will not fog. I didn't believe it either but it works.
One caution...... I did this and ruined a mirror......... DO NOT spray the WD-40 directly onto the mirror because if it gets between the glass and the plastic shell that the mirror is glued to, it will dissolve the glue and the glass will come out of the mirror.

i just go the mirrorless route and use my hand for the stubble hunt

Got mine at Target... works pretty good. I also got one for Christmas that has a place to put my razor, the shaving gel, and has a clock and LCD light, runs on AAs... not sure where my brother bought it but I'll find out.

i got mine from zadro (http://www.zadroinc.com/). they have all different types and seem to be the fogless mirror experts. it worked well until it, well, started fogging up. there's this little moistwipe thing they give you with it that fixes that problem. i've never seen a 'cheap' (i.e. target/wal-mart) fogless mirror that actually works. i have heard that shaving cream thing, though--gonna have to try it.
i agree with the other posters, though--i shave in the shower by feel, not by the mirror. generally you can only see a certain amount of your head, and once you know what you're doing, well--you know what you're doing. you know?

I've had my Wal-Mart cheapo for 3 years, and it's never failed... just spit, smear, and rinse. O0

I picked one up at Bed, Bath and Beyond I paid $12.00 that included the 20% coupon someone at work gave me. Nothing fancy it attaches with suction cups and has 2 razor holders. They had another one with a light and an am/fm radio but I read bad reviews for this brand.
Thanks for the input slybros! O0

I got my last one at Linens and Things... it was around $12.

Bought mine at Walmart. It came with an adapter to connects in between the showerhead and the shower pipe. The adapter feeds a hose that's connected to the mirror that drips the hot water onto the back of the mirror and keeps it fog free. The idea is that the hot water keeps the mirror the same temp as water and therefore, stays fog free. For $13, I thought I'd give it a shot and it works great. It's called the ShowerTek Clear View Heated Fog Proof Shower Mirror.
Here's a product link in case anyone's interested.
