Title: Hot lather machines

Every few years these machines rear their ugly heads. Inform your loved ones not to put this on your Christmas list.
A brush and a cake of cheap shaving soap is 10 times better and doesn't take up valuable counter space.

I dont need one of those hot lather machines....once i put the lotion on my head....im so hot and good looking the stuff just turns in a creamy leather as I massage it in............I cant help it......its just the effect i have on things...lol

I really haven't found a need to try one.

Its kinda simple apply cream or gel and then shave, do we really need all the extras, don't we have enough to go with?

I think it just brings back memories of going to the barber and getting lathered up with it before the shave...if anyone's barber ever used the hot cream.  That doesn't sound right...oh well, ya'll know what i mean.  As far as conventional use, yes, it's no different that just the standard way of prepping for the shave, just warm gel/cream as opposed to the same cold lather.

I remember YEARS AGO (30), my dad had one of those warmers by Gilette, and my mom (in her red heels)  :px  was one of those who ALWAYS was/is tring to save a penny, by buying the cheapest brand she could find of ANYTHING ! so mom bought some brand of shave cream produced somewhere in probally chinavolkia... ANYWAY late one night were here this loud BANG... and then the sound of running water.  SO... dad gets up to see what it is and heres this can of shave cream SPEWING shavecream out a pinhole in the seam where it busted openthe look my DAD gave mom was REALLY a KODAC moment  ;D
