Thanks for the review Warhawk! I'll see if me and the wifey can sneak away to see it.

Thanks for the review Warhawk. Was going to pass on this on because the kids at school said only first half was good. Great to have an adult review.

I like most of his movies, seen him once in person. His wife's Metal band was playing once over here and he showed up. You could see his goofy looking ears across the room. Jada rocks out hard, but you see her on an interview on the Tele and she's all soft spoken. Dual personality :o

Warhawk, thanks for the post.
Will Smith is one of my favorite actors. I have seen the shorts for the movie and it looks amazing. Hopefully the Better Half and I will be able to see it sometime soon.

Loved it! Story was short though felt like there was something missing.

I want to see this movie so bad.

Yeah Warhawk... I saw 'I Am Legend' last weekend. The best way to describe it is Castaway meets Blade... that's what I thought when I was watching it anyway. Go check it out... it's well worth seeing!! Will Smith is excellent in it too. Big Thumbs Up O0

It scared the snot out of me!

Yeah, the previews and TV ads don't really explain what it's about do they. It was nothing like I thought it was gonna be like...??
-

i went monday and loved it, what a loyal dog Sam was.... kinda sad

Going to see it this weekend!

Saw the movie, and liked it quite well. Thought Will did a dang good job of carrying the movie singlehandedly through almost all of it (Well, him and the dog.) O0
Picked up the book shortly thereafter, and was blown away! The author's name is Richard Matheson, and Stephen King lists him as a major influence - and there's a good reason for this! With the reading of that one book (Had "I am Legend" and a few more short stories - a few of which had also been made into movies!) He has moved up into the top of my list of favorite authors!

One thing a lot of you may not know, is that this was in fact a remake...
The original is called "The Omega Man" and was released in 1971 and stars Charlton Heston.

It definitely is one of the better remakes out there, but I still love the original as well.
