I'm watching TV and see a commercial for some kind of anti-balding product. A woman is asked how she sees bald men, and she goes on and on about how bald men look fat, even if they are skinny. That woman is full of sh*t. Bald men are sexy! Just look at these men. How can you not love it? YUMMM

I would imagine that the premise behind the commercial was the frighten men into thinking that women really felt that way about balding men. Shame, garbage like that is on TV.

Plus its a commercial for anti-balding product, you wouldn' see a 400lb woman telling you a ab-lounge chair works.... Boy I just got that picture in my head.... LOL!

Of course, like most advertising, they have to play on people's insecurities and suggest that if only you used their product you'd miraculously be happy.
There's an ad for hair transplants that is always playing on the TV at the gym I go to. They show a before and after of a guy. The "before" video is shot at a very unflattering angle. It makes him look like some kind of creepy pedophile. I guess the ad isn't working too well, though; there are a lot of guys, including much of the staff there, that have gone Sly.

I saw that same commercial, I actually laughed at that woman. It was so obviously staged. Go grab 5 women that don't go for the bald guys and put em on TV. Then ask them to say terrible things so the self-conscious bald guys go buy their product.
