Title: what other forums are you a member of?
Post by: ugabulldog on November 30, 2007, 03:50:14 PM: Since this is such a great forum, I figured it would be cool to see what other forums you guys are members on. (Tyler if this is inappropriate, delete and my apologizes) I'll start: hairlosshelp.com (I can relate to other regretful HT patients) I am acting as general contractor and building my own house so alot of educational ones along those line- diychatroom.com, contractortalk.com etc. used to be active on bodybuiding sites but now I don't take that as seriously, yotatech.com- occasionally to look up stuff on my 4runner.

I am more of a lurker on a few dirtbike forums (dirttrails, dirtrider).

I troll forums for info a lot even if I am not a member.

Post by: shyslyguy on December 01, 2007, 10:03:30 AM: Used to hang out at IIDB (Internet Infidels) a bit but haven't been there much lately. They do have some cool discussions sometimes though if you're into that sort of thing. Not for everyone though I imagine. That's about it for me.

Night time...after I get home from work it is a battle between my three kids, my wife and my self to get on the computer. So I just opt to stay out of the feud at home and let them fight over it and I get it after everyone else goest to bed...which is usually after 10pm. Im content with that...

somethingawful.com forums are incredible, it has everything! current events, comedy, philosophy, medicine, guns, film/movies/tv shows, art, automotive, music... quite literally everything. you hafta pay to join, but that is because they have strict regulations on posting (keeps away spammers and trolls, think about it -- it would suck to get banned cuz you had to pay to join!) might sound odd to hafta pay, but i assure you the ten bucks is well worth it

I bet Google is involved in alot of us finding SBG's. I know it was for me. That was 9 months ago for me and now it seems like this website is burned into the memory of my computer. It's where I am at most of the time.

KilltheCan.org (Support group for quiting chewing tobacco). I visit this one about once a month to check in. posting there actually give me tobacco cravings, so I don;t visit to much.

I saw some traffic coming from Harmony Central and checked it out. I was amazed how many members there are over there.
