Title: where do u get the best deals on airline tickets?

hello fellow chrome domes.... just wondering... where do u get the best deals on airline tickets?  my parents will  b  traveling from florida 2 california around the 1st week of december.  i hope 2 get some good info from u guys.  any suggestions??

Hey Mel..i have found that priceline is pretty reasonable.  Back at the end of September I found round trip tickets for my wife to fly Round Trip..NONSTOP....form Indy to Orlando ...for get this....$79 bucks plus fees...which ended up only being $96 total.  That was one hell of a deal.  It was flying on USAir.  Good luck...

Warhawk, I confirm what Tim said. Priceline is a great place to get cheap airline tickets. Last time we were stateside, We got 2 1-way tickets flying out of Detroit to LAX for 99 each.

I always check Orbitz.com and then find a the airline with the cheapest price for my route.  I then go to the website for that airline to see if it's cheaper or the same price.  It often will be.

Like Tyler, I use Orbitz.  I particularly like their package prices that are generally unbeatable if you price out the whole package individually--flight, hotel & car.  CheapTickets.com has also yielded some buys.
