My review;
I've been using this for about a month now, give or take.
First, the headblade doesn't fit in the provided container, it's too narrow and too tall. So I put some razorlast into the container that I used to store my headblade in. That's not a good thing, it is alcohol based so evaporates pretty fast, and the fact that I didn't clean the oil out of my container, the two didn't mix well. Cleaned up my stuff real well, used a small bowl and started over. This stuff has to be sealed to work well, like I said, it evaporates and you'll go through it fast if it's not sealed. So it's not really for the headblade.
I used it on my Extreme razor, I do like the container provided for that, if your a shower shaver like I am, the container keeps everything sealed and water free. My razor stayed sharp through 3 weeks of shaving my face. I have a very light beard so I was really wanting this for the headblade. Like mentioned before, you have to rinse your razor off real well before using, or the alcohol based cleaner will burn a bit. I didn't notice this so much on my face, but sure did on the head.
The smell is nice, and it did what it was supposed to. I don't know if it works any better then the oil I stored my razor in. The idea is to clean as well as keep the air and moisture off of it, and any oil does the second very well.
To conclude, I don't see much of an advantage to using this over storing in oil, IMO. Unless you don't like the oil, but it does ruin the lube strip, for my face, no big deal, for my head, it's a big deal.
