Title: Additional Reasons the Pilgrims left England and had cause to celebrate Thanksgi

Been sitting here with a fellow teacher and discussing humorous reasons the Pilgrims would have left England for America and then gave thanks.   Please jump in and add to the list.  To our English contingent, please jump in to and add to the humor.

Top Reasons the Pilgrims left for America

#1.  In America you get to drink your beer cold.
#2.  You get to drive on the correct side of the street.
#3.  Here you keep kidneys in a body, not in a pie.
#4.  In America you play REAL Football.
#5.  In America, "banger" involves a totally different kind of sausage.

#6  In America, they could burn heretics at the stake....instead of being burnt at the stake as heretics.
