I really don't understand the so-called "controversy" regarding the selection of Timothy Olyphant to play the role in Hitman. I think it's great whenever a fully-haired actor shaves his head for a role. It usually looks great and just helps make the sly look a little more acceptable in the eyes of Joe Q. Public.
Whether you agree or not, it's an interesting read:

Isn't the question more of the actors abilities not the appearance?
At least at the end of the day, the lead man in this film is bald and isn't portrayed as a nerd, old man or idiot.

I second what Marz says. Pick the actor you want not the looks. I think he is a good choice for the role.

I agree. It wasn't that long ago when a bald part by a noted actor was accomplished with a skin wig.
For example: Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor in one of the Superman movies REFUSED to shave his head so they resorted to the skin wig.

I liked that Tony from Bald R Us didn't play into this guys article and stood his ground that anytime a bald guys shows up on the screen it's better regardless if he's naturally bald or not.

Yes, and he was absolutely correct. I actually like it when an actor shaves a full head of hair for a role because it reinforces the image of sly as a cool look -- not just something guys have to do when they start losing their hair.
