Title: Da Bears...
Post by: BaldRob on November 11, 2007, 06:31:50 PM
As bad as our season has been going... and the collective groan the entire Chicagoland area let out when Rex Grossman went in today... At least we beat the Raiders!!!  I don't even care that our defense didn't really show up until after halftime and our offense did show up until late in the 4th quarter... a win is a win is a win!!

Sorry Schro, you knew it was coming!!!   :D

Yeah whatever. Congrats.  :Xo!

I just hope that Russell finally gets some reps at QB for the Raiders. Watching McCown flounder at QB is just too much.
Although they haven't been winning, they had an opportunity to win each of the first 7 games (4 losses by a combined 11 points). The last two games have been an absolute embarrassment.

The new Miami philosophy, "When the season is lost, let's shoot for that number one draft pick baby!!!"

Talk about an all time screw up!  Gotta love how that arrogant kicker of yours went against Shannahan and kicked to the Windy City Flyer...  It was a nice touch when Hester hurdled him during the first return for a TD!!

Quarterback Brett Farve, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God started showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Packers flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, Brett," said God.

"This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

Brett felt special indeed and walked up to his house. On his way up to the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner.

It was a three-story mansion with a blue and orange sidewalk, 50-foot tall flagpole
with an enormous Bears logo flag, and in every window, a blue helmet with a "C" on it.
Brett looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an All-Pro Quarterback, I won a Super Bowl, and I even went to the Hall of Fame."

God said, "So what do you want to know, Brett?"

"Well, why does Walter Payton get a better house than me?"

God chuckled and said, "Brett, that's not Walter Payton's house, it's mine
