Title: Wake Up Call
Post by: Tyler on October 28, 2007, 01:15:40 AM
Hey guys, I was checking out some music at Amie Street tonight and came across a song called Wake Up Call by a band called BulletProof Messenger.  You can hear the song and listen to the lyrics on the blog here - http://www.slybaldguys.com/serendipity/archives/135-Wake-Up-Call-BulletProof-Messenger.html (http://www.slybaldguys.com/serendipity/archives/135-Wake-Up-Call-BulletProof-Messenger.html)

What do you think?  Was I right in thinking that guys here could relate to it?

Nice sound them dudes got, man O0

Yeah, the message of the tune can be applied pretty broadly to many personal situations....

I think I can see where it might apply to someone's more severe struggle with balding and just DOING IT.

Is that in the ballpark of what yer getting at?

That song rocks Ty

I can see what you were thinking about the struggle of being bald and getting the "wake up call" to go for it and be proud O0

Yeah, Rob, that's the thought I was getting at.

I like it, and I like their other songs on that album.  Doesn't look like you can purchase the CD through regular stores though, just download them.

Yeah, I don't think you can.  I know it's only around $8 if you buy it from AmieStreet.com

Right, I saw that, in fact I'm listening to their other previews now.  Call me strange, but I like to have the purchased CD, then rip that for my digital music.  I could download it and burn it, but I like the factory burned CD for my collection.

I know, strange in this digital age.

edit:  I just bought it from their myspace page.  Course I had to unblock myspace at my router to get to it  :*))

Dude's and Dudette's.  I just got this CD last night, I have to say the whole CD is pretty awesome.   Listened to it last night, put it in the car this morning.  Great music.

Not a big fan of that type of music, but the message sure is relevant, which is what is important!
