Title: What a great decision

One day I looked in a mirror, and just so happened to see the back of my head in another mirror.  Definate reality check... 24 years old and going bald.  I'm in the Coast Guard, and one day while in liberty in Alaska I went to the store and bought an electric razor and disposable.  30 minutes later my head was substantially more aerodynamic and definately nicked to hell.  That day I learned a pretty good lesson about shaving slowly and not using cheap razors.  I thought it would be a lot colder in Alaska without hair, but really it wasn't so bad.  And heck... you can always wear a hat!  Every now and then I'll get some doubt, about looking better with hair, but considering the added confidence, not having to go to the barber, having people rub my head for luck, etc it all adds up to being a great decision.  Right now I'm at the point in my headshaving career where I'm searching for that perfect magical razor... it's a toss up between headblade triple and the vibrating mach III.  I'm going to stick with the HB for now, since it is so damn easy.  The other day I saw some guy spend 10 minutes putting gel in his hair and try to get it just right.  It was pretty hard not to laugh.  Glad to be onboard.

Zuckermania, that part about watching a grown man put gel in his hair for 10 minutes trying to get it right pretty much sums it up for me and my decision to be Sly.

I agree, the headblade is so easy and quick, I dont think I will ever switch back.

Welcome to the SBG site, Zucker. Looking good and sly, and I agree with you on the hair gel thing, it's almost as bad as someone working on their "combover".
