i have been watching andy griffith alot lately too. just sick of the GARBAGE they try to pass off as entertainment these days. when i do watch tv ( and that is actually rare) i like dicovery, the learning channel, history, national geographic and food tv. i do watch cartoons with my son sometimes. but i can't stand REALITY SHOWS. what a crock of crap. sitcoms are all crap IMO. so i usually just hang out here.

All of them! Thats how I support my family...LOL

Sure you are watching Andy Griffith and not the local news channel there paulie? :*)) And bull, caught ya watching cartoons all by yourself.
Back to topic though, would really miss History Channel, Discovery, local PBS and A&E. Hooked on some stuff on Bravo and Hallmark as well. Regular tv with exception of House and Two and a Half men, doesn't really fire me up.

:/O We watch less and less TV as years go by. The channels we do still watch are EWTN, NSMBC, 13 [publis broadcasting], and channel 12, the local NJ station. If our diminishing attention continues, we may rip the thing out and just read a book. This would not have been even conceivable when the kids were still with us. All best, Professor Melon

I could pretty much live without any of them. A couple of years ago we dropped all but basic cable, just so we can continue the internet. When we had cable, I would channel surf thru all the channels then start again. I got really good a watching 3 movies at a time.
We just get the local channels now. When I get home from work I watch Leno and Letterman for a bit, and some football on the weekends. I am more productive without it. Now if I could get rid of the internet
-
GET RID OF THE INTERNET?????????? OK BUDDY, now that is a whole different topic. You cant get rid of the internet. What ever shall we do? I jsut had an awful image of my wife ripping the internet server box out of the wall and her turning around wiht this awful possessed look on her face...............ECKKKKKKKKKKKKKK halloween scares me!

JDog, deadliest catch is AWESOME!! love that programme...and My Name is Earl..(admittedly though, aint seen the latest series) although I rarely watch tv anymore. Most of the stuff on tv is a load of codswollop. Normally if I watch something, it's a documentary like Tribe on the BBC starring Bruce Parry, which was a totally amazing series that's just finished.
Other than that...
ZILCH!! ;)
