Sounds like a strange topic for a SLY Bald Guys thread. Well, seems like I'm always getting this question around my house. Mainly because I have two young school age boys that have problems with keeping their hair combed and in a pinch seems like someone is always says "Hey, I need a comb".
Well don't look at me. I got rid of all of mine about 5 months ago. A sign of being truly commited to being SLY for life. Don't figure I'll ever need them again, so why keep them around.
So is anyone else like me and have cleaned all the combs out of your bathroom. Or are you still holding out that you might need them again someday?

Don't believe I've used a comb since 1998. Started buzzing it then...took me too long to go SLY!

Noooww, what EXACTLY is this "comb-thing" you're talking about?
I think I've heard of it somewhere in my life! ;)

Come to think of it, I hadn't actually used a comb for at least the last 2-3 years since I also buzzed everything down fairly short. But it wasn't until taking the plunge that I did that last final "act of defiance" and threw away the stash of combs in my bathroom vanity drawer. Now that space is all taken up with my collection of razors and shaving accessories.

I have beard combs... lol

Man, I don't know how long it's been since I've even seen a comb. Seriously!

Comb: "A thin toothed strip, as of plastic, used to smooth, arrange, or fasten the hair." Ooohh yeah, I remember seeing one of those once. ;D
-
Comb? Did Romans use such a thing or stoneagers?

Just say "you couldn't handle may comb"
-
I don't do combs & combs don't do me! :px

Paul thanks for that description because I had actually forgotten what a comb was as I hadnt used one in so long. Although Arnie's 1998 probably beats me(I'm probably '02 or '03) :D

I'm in the same boat with the rest of you I've been buzzing it down for years and I couldn't begin to tell you where my combs and or brushes might be, there might be some buried in my storage some where.
-
I use a comb daily to brush my face.
-
I have not used a comb or brush in many many years. I dont remember throwing them away, maybe they just felt neglected and left.
-
No comb for me since I shave in 1996! :)
Still use sometimes a brush for my goatee.
Bye

Some of my friends, who are also my co-workers, stay at my house when working in the area... One of them was here for about a week and told another one of our friends, "You know the one thing you always need to bring to Rob's house when you stay? A comb or brush!!"

Man, I don't know how long it's been since I've even seen a comb. Seriously!
I have a hairbrush that hasn't been used in about 8 years. I stopped using it when I started getting buzz cuts. Not sure why I'm still holding onto it.
It was rainy and windy in Philadelphia today. When I was leaving the building at lunchtime to run some errands, some other guy was just coming in, trying to comb his hair back into place as he walked to the elevator. I'm glad that's something I don't have to worry about anymore.
BTW, there was a time when I heard bald guys say they were glad they didn't have any hair to worry about, I used to think the couldn't possibly really mean it. But now I totally understand it.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy I never have to worry about the weather and my hair either, long curly hair on a humid day? forget about it

A smooth Salut, Sly Guys,
I actually just went Sly about a week ago, and before that I (ironically enough) had a big ass afro that I picked every waking moment of my days. After finding out my scalp couldn't handle big hair, I was told to get something lower. "Low?" I said. "Hell, why don't you take it all off?"
I'll get you guess what happened next.
I still keep my picks as a memoriam, and once in a while stand in front of my mirror and pick at my invisible fro. I'd take shaving and polishing to picking my hair every second any day.
Sly 'til I die,
Bizzle

Quite a while since I used a comb - three or four years at least. I still have an old one knocking around somewhere, but if I ever grew my hair again (Heaven forbid!) I might buy a new comb in the hope it might come with a set of instructions on how to use it... ;D

Comb? I don't need no stinking comb! LOL!!!
Haven't owned a comb or brush in years! Even
before I shaved my head I usually buzzed my
crop short so I didn't need one. Good riddance!
