hello fellow chrome domes.....just wondering who was the 1st family member, spouse, gf, bf, close friend 2 C U sly & what was his/her reaction & what did they say?
i'll start. 1st of all... the regular sly brahs know that my wifey shaves my dome but the 1st person 2 initially shave the dome was my barber. so after taking the plunge.... my wifey was the 1st person 2 C me sly. when i removed my ball cap & showed her my slick noggin'....she immediately had a big smile, said "LOOKS GOOD ON YA", and gave me my 1st head rub. :@` :@` :@` WHAT A FEELING (those head rubs). anyways....she has been rubbing my noggin' ever since.
so... how what's your story?

My wifey saw me very briefly before I went to work but she was half asleep then. The first person to see me was my eldest daughter then my wife and the rest of the kids. Kids laughed first now are used to it. Wife initially had her revelations then said that it actually suited me.

My best friends, my Labradors saw me first. They had no comment and went back to sleep.

'twas my kids and they give me a hard time ever since when I go a few days without shaving. Then the wife came home later that day, knowing she would be seeing me SLY when she got home. We all went through a period of adjustment for sure.....but it's all good.
I prepared the fam for a few months with photoshopped pics of me rendered bald....which turned out to be a fairly inaccurate rendering.

First people to see me sly were fellow teachers, students, and their parents as it was done at a fund raiser at the school. First family members were my parents. As I had prepared them for the fact I was doing it, there was not too much said at the time. Wasn't till it became obvious that I was never having hair again that the reactions surfaced.

My mother ... my dad was out of town, and I went to visit her. She was going to cook (I told her on the phone that I had shaved my head, and she didn't know if she wanted to be seen in public with me) but when I walked in she said, "You don't look that bad. Let's go to a restaurant."
My brother's response a week later was, "Not bad. At least you have a nice shaped head."

My wife saw me first and my mother second. Stopped at my mother's house shortly afterward and was surprised to get good feedback. When I called her on the phone to announce my new slyness and that I was coming over to show her, she said "you better lose weight or your head will look like a bowling ball." Nice...
My daughter pushed back in the beginning, but has adapted well .....

Our sons saw me first and said: Hi, Kojak!
My wife likes the head rub, but not the velcro-feeling and my sister-in-law likes the look very much and tries to push my brother also to shave.

It was my beautiful bride of 35 years and I have to give her credit, after she got herself up from the floor, she never acted like she hated it, not even once! :*))

My wife was first to see me, and I had to ask her if she noticed. I guess it was because I was getting buzzed down to 0a at that point, or I just didn't do a good job the first time?!, lol. ;)

my boys were in the bathroom making fun of me for shaving. the first shave was at the sink and they were watching. so they were first. laughing their little mean butts off.

It was my wife. Tomorrow marks my 5 month SLY-versary. The night I "Did the Deed" I asked my wife if she wanted to help me shave it off....Well, she just laughed. but she did hang around and watched and kept saying "I can't believe you're doing this"

SLYinKC....HAPPY 5 MONTHS 2 u also. wow....that's right...thanks 4 reminding me. we r only 2 days apart. i celebrated my 5 month SLY-niversary on the 24th. time 2 celebrate r slyness.O0

OH Warhawk....was I suppose to keep going???? Damn....short attention span I guess..
When they first seen it ..my wife was like...TIM!!!!!!!!! What did you do? I was like well you said you were tired of seeing me with my 5 oclock shadow so I took care of it. My daughter ...the fruitcake that she is...said i needed to shave my chest because it was gross...Which has nothign to do wiht the hair on my head. They all Like it now or they are just use to it..i dunno.
