Well I would just like to say hello. There is a place on the net for everyone. I have been shaving my head for about two years and it has been a very uncomfortable 2 years until last week. I have been shaving with an electric razor for that time. Razor burn after razor burn I still did not have the guts to use a real blade on my head.
So last week this stranger comes to my house to pick up some rocks that we wanted to get rid of. He had mentioned the head blade to me. So I had to go and check it out. Drove down to the local Walgreen's and picked one up. I can't say how happy I am that this stranger had mentioned this wonderful product to me. Not sure that the wife likes it that much. Just ore money that I need to spend on products. But it is so much quicker and easier with the head blade. So much less burn on the head. I can't wait to get some bald products to put on my head. I had never heard of such a thing as products to put on my bald head until I started to look up reviews of the head blade. I found this site and saw everyone talking about different products. I think that is awesome that there are companies out there that focus on the bald guy.
I have been loosing my hair since I was about 15 years old and I am now 27. I still have hair but not to much. It just looks so much cooler and I feel so much cooler with out any hair.

Lucky, welcome to Sly Bald Guys! Glad to hear that the HeadBlade is working out for you. Check out the Product Review board to learn about all of the products available to you.
Also, if you dig the HeadBlade that much, post up an entry to win one of the Clear HeadBlades that we're giving away right now.

Welcome Lucky, isn't the HB a great thing? I found it by accident at a local Walgreen's while picking up something for my daughter. I have used nothing but for the past two plus years.

welcome lucky. lucky you for finding this place and freeing yourself from the electric dragon. seems like your lucky day. ok i am out of lucky jokes. just hang around and enjoy the brotherhood.

Thanks guys. I went to the local Target and the local zoo I mean Wal-Mart. They did not have any HB products like the HB site says. But I am sure some do carry the goods. I will have to check the local mini van hang out(K-Mart) to see if they carry anything. I am looking for a local spot to pick up the matte lotion.
But anyway back to the topic at hand.
Thanks for the welcomes and I hope I can find this place as great as you guys have.

Lucky you found us, eh? Glad you are on board Lucky and glad you are enjoying both the Headblade and being sly. If you have a Walgreens in your area, check them out for HB products. They carry them as a standard in every store I have been in.

Great story, Lucky. I'm a Headblade fan too -- been using it for nearly 3 years. You might want to check out Headslick shave cream. If your Walgreens carries the actual Headblade, they should carry their other products. If you didn't see any, they might be out of stock - just ask. This is a great place to learn just about everything there is to know about headshaving.

Welcome Lucky!

Welcome to SBG's, Lucky. Good to have another fan of HB here.
Like Paul said, try Walgreen's, they are usually the only place you can find a decent amount of HB products. CVS may also carry them, but not as many.
Post up and let us know how it goes.

Welcome to the forum.

I have one more walgreen's in my area to check. So far the one in town plus one in a neighboring town only have the glossy lube, head clear and head slick.
My K-mart has lube in glossy and matte along with slick. SO I have one more walgreen's to check out and then I will just have to go to two different places to get my stuff.

Hey Lucky Glad you found this site. It is full of useful info. I know that everyone in here has helped me out alot, although I found this site after I started shaving..but I wished I had found it before....would have saved alot of heartache. Everyone is supportive and just look around...there is always someone out there that can be on the same level as you are. ......I had a dream last night...that this site was taken over by a bunch of bushy headed burly guys. It was awful. Have a great day you all.

Hey Lucky, Welcome to SBG's.
If you have a CVS there check them, they are the only place around me that carries HB products. Plus their off brand of apricot scrub works really well and is cheap!
Good luck in your search. BTW, the Bald Guyz moisture gel works good for irritation also.

It just seems that all the products around me are scattered. K-mart caries a one thing that Walgreens dose not and so on. I can't find headshed or clear head. So I am just going to toss in an oder for the refill kit silver on the HB site.
-
Lucky,
I can't remember ever finding HeadShed or ClearHead in a store ... and I've checked Walgreens in Michigan, Minnesota, and Nebraska!
Online seems to be the only route.
Peace,
WBP

Ditto Padre's remarks. I am in a different part of the country, but I haven't found HeadShed or ClearHead anywhere - except online.

I just found shed at Sally's beauty supply today. They never heard of the clear or the triple blades.
