I've made up my mind. It's time to go bald for life. I'm psyched.

Good for you! I got my back, shoulders and underarms lasered many years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I like feeling clean and it really helps with personal hygiene.
I just wish that I had my beard line lasered at the same time so that I would always be able to have a crisply lined-up beard without having to shave it every day. - but I didn't think of it at the time since I wasn't earing any facial hair at the time.
In fact, I should have had the entire body lasered, but once the hairs began to turn grey it was too late.
Please keep us posted on your progress and post photos as you go along.

I certainly will.

That's a big step, but I'm sure you thought it through. I didn't have to consider it because my hair is white. Over the years, I've grown to like the shaving routine. Good luck with your procedure!

I would or would have given it consideration if my hair was still dark when I started shaving. But my hair started turning gray and white in my 20's, so it is not likely I would have done it then. I am still not sure I would do it today if possible, because I do like the fresh shave fell.

I've been shaving for over a decade, and I'm looking into this as well.

I know I'm the new guy here but let me just say I support you sir. I'm also a little envious. I myself have thought about making it permanent.
-
I envy those who have already done it.

@Chevytaker , I can see if you're already bald on top that lasering the rest would be okay. But it looks from the shadow on your head that you still have most of your hsir. While I can't see completely bald heads ever going out of style, forever bald is forever! I've said before that I would consider laser if my hair wasn't white, but after shaving for 13 years, I don't think I personally would do it. In the last year, I've grown my hair back several times. I just want that option. But good luck, I know lots of guys have done it and were very happy.

Thanks for the support. I'm still trying to decide when to schedule the appointment, but I'm going to do it.
-
Keep us up to date sir! Still envious of you!

I made the appointment. It's on Tuesday. I'm psyched.

I did it. I got my scalp lasered. The burning feeling was powerful, but it was worth it. The procedure went well. I'm happy with the look of my scalp. It doesn't have any burn marks.

How many treatments did they tell you it would take? Also, did you have a full head of hair or had male pattern baldness already started for you?
-
It was thinning. I'm scheduled for six appointments, but I might get eight or nine. Having light skin and dark hair, I am a prime candidate for lasering. I'd recommend it. Do it before you go gray. You won't regret it if you truly want baldness.
