wazzup my kool sly brahs.... this post is 2 the daily shaver & twice a day shaver. i was wondering what was the longest u have been without shaving the noggin'. since... i became sly in april 24,2007. i usually get the dome shaved every day. however.... the longest that i have been without shaving is about 2 full days. i don't know about u but i feel unkept & "dirty" if i go longer than 2 days. i feel like i'm sporting the "fabio" hair if i go longer than 2 days.
so..... how about u? and how did u feel when u went "x" number of days without a good headshave? OR u may have perfect attendance & never missed a day & if that is u....please let us know. O0

I think I've only missed either 3 or 4 days in the past (almost 5 months). And it has never been for longer than a day. Not quite perfect attendance. But at least no tardies....LOL...

3 days max, and only a few instances over nearly 3 years. Once in a while, skip a day on the weekend, but not planned.

Sorry warhawk, no certificate for perfect attendance here. On a VERY rare Saturday I may get so involved that it is late in the day before I could get around to shaving and its better to wait till the morning so I can get a good close one. But I have to agree totally about not feeling clean or presentable without a good slick shave for that day. In almost 11 months I have only missed like 3 times.

"Wait? How can that be?" You ask. Well, that's when I go hunting in the middle of nowhere. I thought about trying to shave my head with my buck knife once, but then I pictured myself bleeding to death since it was a couple hours hike back to civilization. So, every year I go several days without shaving and then make it the first thing I do when I get back to civilization.

So far? About 2, maybe 2 1/2 days for me as a record.

I never miss the weekends, but may go 2-3 days, worst case, without shaving during the work week.

I do it every day, drives me crazy if I don't.

Longest I've been is about two days....and yes, I felt dirty and unkempt

On occasion, during the week-end, I skip one day or shave late ( in the afternoon.)
But I would not go out unshaven1. If I have to go out those days, even for five minutes, I shave.

[2] : Should3 I say "Ought I"?
[3] : GoTo 2 and start infinite recursion. Crash, stare witlessly at preview, give up and hit "Post".

I haven't missed a day in at least 2 years. I cannot stand the stubble even from one day growth. Now, that wasn't always the case. I used to shave once every three days, but I decided that actually took more effort and used more blades than once per day. Just my opinion.

I went for a week without shaving last December when I was sick with the flu.

Been a daily shaver since I first started, only missed two days.
I didn't shave today because I was pressed for time. It actually isn't bothering me today and as I said in another post, the stubble feels much softer. Wondering if anyone else feels the same about it?

I cant stand it when I go a day without shaving. So about 1 day is the longest I have went wihtout shaving . Not too often do I do the twice shave..but depends on the day adn how things go. If it is a weekend night and we are going out to eat..sure I will freshly shave...gotta impress the crowds...right?

I shave every night before I got to bed. My reasoning is I am to groggy in the morning to go waving a sharp implement before work. If I am going out I shave a couple of hours before so that all the redness etc has had time to cool off.

I never skip more than 1 day of shaving, since shaving is akin to exfolliating my skin. It definitely provides relief from the sebhorreic dermatitis.
Good to be sly again.

Most of the time, I'm an every other day shaver... just to give the dome a rest. However, I can't go any longer than that...

Every day! tried 2x a day by hitting it with the electric in the morning but electric makes me rash out so im once a day everyday. if for some reason i get a huge out break on the neck area i will skip one day but that is rare now that i use Clearasil Pads on the back of my neck morning and night.
cant stand to skip a day!

I actually shave twice a day, in the morning with the headblade sport, and the evening with the mach 3 turbo, the longest ive gone with out a headshave since i went sly in june of 2004 has been 3 days,

No excuses Tyler! I think it was the new poster WhiteToast that taught us that when in the wilderness one can always use their trusty headblade naked in a freezing lake ^u!ez

After a year of being consistently Sly, I gave it up for Lent ... and then through Pentecost (90 days total) ... I kept it comb-able for the summer and a semester, but felt like a phoney. Buzzed it in the middle of the winter, and started shaving again this summer.
Sly is much more in line with who I am.

Ok, next year I'll pack my HeadBlade 12 miles in the snow to base camp so that I can shave with it and get a picture. Actually, now that I know some good tricks, it wouldn't be that different than sink shaving.

The only time I don't shave da noggin, is when I am going hunting, but upon my return home from being out... we shower and shave da head man :D most days its a twice a day shave cuz me hate the nubs bub.

Daily shaver here. For the last 3 months or so I've been a twice a day razor shaver.
Sometimes due to parenting and work responsibilities I may go max 3 days with no shaving which is a nightmare for me. Like slowly watching your essence being lowered into the pit of hell and seeing demons feasting upon your soul.

I usually shave every other day during the week and relax at the weekend unless I need to go out somewhere then I'll shave. I need to get into the habit of shaving everyday. Unfortunately I rarely get the time in the morning. It adds another 30 mins to my grooming routine in the morning.

Usually daily, but every once in a while, I do go a day without shaving, just to give the dome a rest or if I was up late the night before studying and don't have time. One day is my max though, and 36 hours at the absolute latest for me, any longer than that and I start going crazy :/O :D ;D

WELL... its been a while since anyone has posted on this topic , so i might as well resurect this one TOO ! my self i try to shave everyday, but i electric shave just about every OTHER day , because i can do this in the truck on the way to work, where i work is really dirty so i take a gooood long shower when i get home before hittin the sheets , sometimes the snooze bitch wins in the morning and i GET UP and sometimes i win and get a xtra 15minits of sleep , (but NOT if there was anything but sleep for this big guy . then I GOTTA get my fat a** outta bed and shower again)if i get to sooze a lil longer ,THEN its snatch n grab runnin out the door and shaving in the truck, but it's usually done one way or the other , if were bikin it then the blade goes in the duffle, i can use it in the lake if i haveta , theres USUALLY water availble , but not always electric C#)P porky

I have to shave every day to feel slick enough not to feel scruffy :D
I have gone one or two days when I have flu etc, but didnt like it much. It was only because i was too ill to care a sh** at the time that I left it unshaven :o
Mostly its machIII - never use an electric, because it never seems to get enough off.
So its once a day for me, and if I'm goin on a night out then I shave again before I get ready. 8)

Everyday. On weekends, if I'm going out and it feels like more than 000 sandpaper, I "oil shave" rather than Headslick before going out. I don't think I would care for or be able to go more than 24 hours w/o feeling and rubbing my baby butt smooth freshly shaved noogin.

Shave everyday except Friday. Usually take my shower at night, because with a wife and two kids, the mornings are just to chaotic. I do not shave on Friday night. That's my night off out of laziness really.

I usually shave everyday but I have went up to 2 weeks without shaving (vacation or other circumstances).
I am currently on day 9 since I cut my head up and have been waiting for it to heal completely. I will probably shave this evening though it is pretty much done.

I want to go to everyday in the mornings but getting up so early to do it is toooooo much work for me.
I razor shave every evening before dinner and electric shave in the morning. This way I don't have to get up too early in the morning. I also avoid those early morning nicks and scrapes that I traditionally get with an early morning blade shave. And my wife gets me at my smoothest when we're eating dinner and partaking in other evening activities. You get the idea gents. Can't argue with success can you!
