Title: So tried shaved(clippers). Not good

So I always wanted to try out a shaved head. Didn’t like a haircut I got so I said what the hell and tried it. Immediately regretted it as I think I’m too lumpy. Found this site and wanted to see what you think.

 Front I didn’t think looked terrible , maybe growing my beard back out would help but the back....

Yes that’s a scar and both sides have the big bump of a bone.

I don’t see a problem.  It takes a while to adjust to such a big change.  That’s why we have the 30 day rule. You look fine.

first of all the beard looks great,i would keep that,as far as the head i think you look normal,either go with a buzz cut or a shaved head.

Should I shave it clean? 

Beard is in baby stage right now. Just started letting it grow back after shaving 2 weeks ago. I think it being back to full might get me a little more comfortable. Attached is what it was July 4th. Also gives some comparison to what my hair looks like.

You are over reacting due to the shock of seeing your shaved head, it looks fine.  And the longer beard would look better with it, IMO.  Others may disagree.  So there is no one "best" style, it is individual.

Full beard very impressive, with your hair I personally would not shave . But that’s for you to decide.

I think it looks just fine as well! It does take a little getting used to, for sure.

Your pictures look great. The scar adds character, and I agree that the big beard will look awesome with your current buzz or a future shaved head. Congrats.

Thank you all.  Really helped me putting myself out there to strangers on the internet ahead of people I know already.  Back at the office today and between people here and family I saw over the weekend and feedback has been initial shock from not being used to seeing me like this but that it doesn't look bad.  Pretty much the same way I felt I suppose.

don't take this the wrong way. . . . but buzzed you look ordinary. there are a zillion dudes w/ the same haircut, etc. Nothing to worry about w/ your head, scar, skin, etc.  wear it strong.
