Been visting for a while now and thought it's time to post. Not sly yet but have been making my way . Currently use the Wahl Balding clippers for a super-short buzz. The wife is supportive during my "transition" but likes the little bit of hair (actually short velcro feel ) the clippers provide. I'll post a pic soon. Great site.

I gotta say, that looks pretty darn close to a blade shave for clippers! Already sly, if you ask me.

Go without shaving for a couple of days a week ; that's a very little bit of effort to keep the wife happy !

Like the other guys are saying; your transition to totally sly will not be a big one. Go for it. I did ; and have stuck with it . I think I can safely say you wont be sorry; And; it will take no more than two days for it to grow back to the way it is in your avatar.

haha.. though I think I prefer the stubble I agree with the "sticky" comment...

Putting on fitted basebal caps = smooth
Taking OFF fitted baseball caps = #$*%&^@#!!!! .. like it's glued to the back of my head! :) hahah
