Title: Thinking of shaving whats left off
Post by: MrXT on November 17, 2017, 09:21:13 AM
Iv had a receding hairline for the last few years and its creating a horseshoe shape thats now reached halfway across my head so i think tis time to shave it all off as its making me look older. Bit concerned tho because despite using anti dandruff shampoo 4 times a week and using once a week it still occurs sometimes, what happens once my hairs gone? does that clear up? its got me worried.

I had dandruff too, no shampoo really helped. It was gone after i shaved. When i let it grow, it seems to come back.

No dandruff for me since I first shaved my head 2.5 months ago....on top of my head....my beard is another matter.

Shaving eliminates dandruff completely.

Yeah, I say if you have a Horse shoe thing going now, its past time to shave it all off. Me personally, the horse shoe look makes me ill. I would rather be bald, slick, no hair anywhere on my head, then have the dreaded horse shoe thing going, not me personally, but some guys wear it. Whatever they want to do. Its their head.

it's the oil produced along the hair that often leads to the scalp issues/dandruff etc

once the hairs no longer there / not allowed to get to any notable length...then yeah the dandruff should clear up no problem.

I still use a tiny bit of T-Gel on my head though just to keep things in check as ive gathered it can be good at reducing the oily'ness of the head, which in turn can help keep the shine down...if thats what you're after
