hey fellow sly guys/gals.... what were your 1st words immediately after doing the deed. i'll start: my 1st words (paraphrasing) : "i shoulda done this sooner." O0 anyways.... what were your 1st words as a sly guy?

Wow, look at this, I shaved my head!
Shortly followed by - " I shoulda done this sooner".

Other than the standard "I should have done this sooner". I asked my wife to take my pic so that I could get a new avatar posted up on SBG's. ;D

Mine were 'I can't believe I finally shaved the sh*t off!' Followed by "It feels so weird."
I was completely mesmerized by the experience and riding on a total high rubbing my head the whole time. It's an experience you don't forget.

I would almost have to say the same that razorhead said. It was just a totally different feeling..and I couldnt stop rubbing it

"has the second half started yet?" i shaved on a whim during halftime of a football game.

I said, "What the hell have I done?" .... and I went and wept inconsolably.

What I said first has become a constant everytime I look in the mirror...
"DAMN...I'M SEXY!!!"

I laughed the whole time I first shaved the dome. Then (quoting Razorhead) "it feels so wierd".

Well i had been buzzing mine down as short as poss & when i did go Sly after reading on here,it was like ....... "what was all the fuss about" . Basically i should have done it years ago.

O0 O0 I am with Sooner Steve: my first thought was: I'll never have hair again. I knew, even before my emotions adjusted, that I had found the right image for the rest of my life. When I could not shave, because of an accident and gash early in the summer, I was utterly miserable. If SBG had existed and the culture had been different, I'd have shaved my head twenty years ago. I shaved the shag off right before work, so my co-workers all gave me a hard time about it (Back in 2001 when it wasn't as common as now).
Basically went from Bruce Lee to Buddha.

Then, "Hmmmm. How can that be? I'm a melon head." ::)
Then I grinned for the rest of the day. The pillow felt funny that night. My head was numb & tingly. And after 5+ weeks, there's no looking back.

9 months later and it still gives me a high every time I do it!
