Hello everyone, new member! I just found this forum yesterday after days of searching for advice, watching vídeos, and trying to learn how to cope with the fact that I'm permanently losing my hair (not that it's that great looking from the start lol). I lurked for about an hour and decided it felt like home.

My name is Carlos, I'm a 25 year old mexican dude and Im the kind of guy who has always been self concious about how i look, which has caused some degree of social anxiety, and to add to that I started thinning at 22! It was devastating and my confidence dropped a whole set, but after spending years trying to hide it I am tired. Really tired.

I am buzzing down to a 2 and 1-0.5 on the sides every 3 weeks and it doesn't look half bad, but i reckon i'll have to step up to the sly game rather soon, good thing i found you guys for the necessary moral support lol! I know my chick ain't going to dig it at first!!

Carlos, you've come to the right place. Welcome! I know what it's like to lose hair at a young age. It's disheartening but it happens unfortunately. I'll just let you know that once I shaved my head, the anxiety like what you're feeling went away. I've been sly permanently for almost two years and still LOVE it! I felt nervous about what people close to me would say too but they all loved it. I'd say try it for 30 days and see if you like it. If you don't, it'll take no time to grow back out to what you have now. If you have any questions, let us know. If you decide to shave it all off, do keep the beard! Looking at your photo, you'll rock the bald look!!  O0.

Welcome carlos to Sly bald guys .I only joined a few months ago myself its an awful pity i didn't find it sooner .You have come to great forum probably one of the most helpful online . You will find that the guys here  are great for tips about shaving and for life in general . Hope to see you on the forum !!
