Hi guys.  Just got back from another visit to KC.  Went back to Courtney Brothers Barber Shop in Blue Springs, Missouri.  What a treat!  A bunch of young guys who are really dedicated to the tonsorial arts.

A head shave includes:
- hot later from lather machine with hot towel soak
- second hot towel
- hand made lather (brush and cake)
- shave with straight razor
- second hand lather and shave ATG with a DE razor
- head washed
- cold towel
- scalp rubbed with alum bar
- after shave
- hand waving cool breeze across head

Price $12!

Oh man, what a treat.  And BTW face shave are a similar ballet and also only $12!

Wow!  That is close to being worth the road trip.  Add a good beard trim and I might consider it.

Slybeard - all of the barbers in that shop have beards as well!
