It is an unfortunate fact of life today that all students and teachers must wear photo id's while in the school building. Well, I was working with my sophomore English class this morning, walking between the rows and assisting students with a writing assignment, when I heard laughter along side me from two of the female students. These are some great students so I knew the laughter had a good cause. When I asked what was up, "M" replied, "Mr. R. your id is so funny, you have hair on your head but not on your face and now you have hair on your face and not your head" I had totally forgotten my id was pre-sly and as I looked at it, they were right, it was funny. So of course the whole class wanted to see the photo. WIth that I said maybe I should grow it back to match the photo and the whole class yelled, "No Way!" Guess I am sly to stay....at least while I am teaching!!

DUH........I tried that!!!! School won't do it....is the type that opens outer doors....too expensive they say. Tells you the state our schools are in.

it is not an official representatuion of who you are. therefore it cannot be used as an official form of identification. or you can just do like the kids and edit it.
