Title: Just Competed 30 Day Challenge!

Today I finished my 30 day challenge!  As I contemplated shaving it all off, I read posts from the Sly Bald Guys, and your posts helped me make the final decision to shave. My hair was getting thin in the front, and I am sure I had a little hair loss in the back (never really looked!)  I maintained a buzz cut for a couple of years, to minimize the thinning look, and 30 days ago, I forgot to put a guard on the buzzers and cut a chunk of hair out.  To fix the damage, I buzzed it all off and then shaved with a fusion pro glide razor, and have shaved every day since! 

I am getting comfortable with the look.  My wife is still asking me if I am going to grow it back, so I don’t think she likes it very much.  Many people did not even notice, and those that did said it made me look younger (I am 54).

Welcome! Congratulations on completing the 30-day challenge, it suits you well. Looking at your profile, I would have never guessed you to be 54 years old!

Congratulations.  I am almost 54 as well.  It takes wives and family time to adjust.  Welcome to the board.

Thank you all for the kind words.  There is something good about it that I can't explain. It kind of makes you feel free in a way?

Thanks! I guess going Sly is a good way to get rid of gray hair!

I agree with a couple of others.  From your photo there is no way you are 54.  Looks good and your wife will adjust in time.
