Title: Having a go at the 30 day rule myself.
Post by: SlyMike on January 10, 2015, 12:51:03 PM: It's about time I took the plunge myself, as I don't shave my head enough, so I am going for the 30 day rule.

This was today, it's not perfect but I love it.

My hair is so thin I need to do it. Would rather have no hair than what I currently have. I've encouraged others to do it on here, so now it's my turn.

Except he wore a baseball cap to cover the shaved bald head. Huge beard and mustache.

Told him about SBG. He kept coming back and confirming the URL. I'm going back tonight and will take him a card. I was all out last night. :(

He has a local Beard and Mustache club!

What razor are you using?

I hate going more than 2 days without shaving! I use a Mach 3 these days and love it!! Got my routine down to a T.

You do need to shave lower down on your neck. I usually take 3 passes with some tidying up too. Love the smooth feel even though i cannot get 100% smooth all over!!!

Been shaving my head for over a year now and yesterday cut myself pretty badly on the back of my neck due to some carelessness. Sometimes in rush, I get heavy handed and forget to be gentle.

Post by: Goatee on February 04, 2015, 12:20:56 PM: I used to cut or nick myself frequently when i shaved with a DE. Now, using a Mach 3 i get almost 99% clean shaves without nicks or cuts! (Bet i will cut myself after saying that!)

Believe it or not, this is only the second time I've cut myself in the 15 months I've been shaving my head. I've had slight minor nicks here and there, and I've been able to shave the very next day with no problem.

I like it, so much tidier than having hair, I am still working on getting it really smooth (I want total smoothness, love how it feels), really like the headblade, just need to work out where I can get blades for it, other than the internet. Can you use other blades on the headblade or does it have to be their own?

I use a DE razor sometimes but need to learn more about how to do it without cuts and nicks. Practie makes perfect I guess. I like your sly dome with the beard.

Yes, that is the problem I have, what do you shave with Goatee?

I use a Mach 3 these days. Been using one for a long time now. Really like it. Tried quite a few including the ATX and DE but much prefer the Mach 3 myself.

I'm improving my shaving technique (it's a weird thing for a guy with a big beard to be saying), getting much less irritation too, so I guess my head is getting used to it. Some pics from tonight.
