Title: Long Narrow Face. Shave Head or Not?

hi guys while i think shaved heads look great, they may not look great for everyone. i used to lose hair when i was in my 20's. i started balding completely at 31.started shaving it instead of letting the remaining hair on the sides and back of the head stay.all or nothing.

in over 8 years and while getting older i lost my face fat and my face got considerably narrow and thin. Being a long and narrow face and me having a shaved head due to balding, i dont think i look ok.


this was in my late 20's/early 30's

also my beard maybe doesnt help and i need a style that suits a long thin/narrow face better.
What do you guys think?

Welcome! We are always our own worst critics, but I think you have the perfect head for the sly-bearded combination....I see nothing wrong, and I'm not blowing smoke.

I was about to type the same. I really think you look good on the last picture. You have a nicely groomed and very full beard style that goes well with the shaved head. If I would see you on the streets I would think: Look, another guy who pulls it off really well!

I'll vote for the shaved head and the beard.  Great combo.

Welcome.  Stick around. The guys here will help with tips, suggestions, and encouragement. 

I personally really enjoy the super smooth feel of a head shave each morning.  Been 3 years (almost). Boss commented today, "I saw a picture of my son and you from a few years ago. I did a double take ... who is that guy standing next to my son? He has hair.  The remembered it was me.' So the bald look is catching on and people are forgetting what I looked like with hair.

Looks good to me. I wouldn't worry about the shape of your face. And the beard looks good.

You look fine. I would let the beard grow to about an inch in length and keep the head shaved.

I think it looks great...and agree with the idea of growing out your beard just a little.

well, i think it's okay but you looked a lot better with hair. i dont know, maybe you should try getting a slight tan or leave the sunglasses out?
