Title: new to the bald comminuty

hey everyone!!so i shave my head for the first time 4 days ago by choice and due to receiving hairlines. i have noticed my scalp is very dry and im shedding lol can anyone help me?

My guess is that is is just your scalp's reaction to the first shave.

Welcome XDaFuzzzyX, and congratulations on going sly.  Was your scalp ever dry before shaving?  Having a bald head sure makes it easier to put apply lotion.  lol.

I think your head's natural oils will soon help too.

Use something  like Neutrogena face scrub. That will help get it all clean and get rid of the dead skin. Then apply a lotion if needed.  Sounds like you shaved it and have let it grow a few days? If you shave each day you wont have any shedding.

Congrats and welcome to the sly side! Follow my colleagues' advice and you can also apply pure aloe vera gel after shaving. I had a bad dry scalp problem before shaving my head but that is behind me now. You did the right thing by shaving your head and if you continue, your scalp should be fine after about a week. Shaving daily exfoliates dry skin.

that's awesome, congrats! I had the same but for the first week or so... but in my case I think it's becasue I'm from a tropical country but am living in Europe now, so my skin (in general) dries up really easily.

I guess if it's still dry, just put some cream or a little bit of oil and you'll be fine :)
