Title: 18 and wanna try being bald
Post by: Tuner51 on September 02, 2014, 06:23:11 PM
I'm 18 and no reason to go bald other than the fact I wanna try it. Just curious if it's worth shaving off all my hair to try it or not. I'm one one of those all or nothing people so I'm thinking bald or nothing. Opinions?

I was in in the same position myself a little over two years ago. I took the leap and have no regrets at all about it. I say go for it. If you don't like it your hair will grow back.

Hingatao, does that mean you are a little over 20 now?   lol.

Turner51, I think you should do it if you are curious.  It will grow back quick enough if you don't like it.

Is there any reason why not?  I mean, it is not as though you are getting a tatoo!

There is no harm in giving it a try.  Other than you may like it so much it becomes the 'new you.'

These days bald is a timeless look and is little more than an alternate hairstyle.

Like the other guys wrote, I encourage you to try it.

It is your head and your hair. If you want to know what it is like to go smooth, the only way to find out is to shave it off.

Like the gentlemen before me have said, it will grow back if it turns out not to be what you want.

Of course we are all going to say, "There's no reason not to at least try it."  If you want someone to talk you out of it, you've posted on the wrong forum...   :)

Seriously, I wish I had tried it when I was younger, even if it was just as a lark.
