so i finally went Sly BBC it was a painful process i got about half way buzzing my head and my Clippers Died i keep taking brakes and letting it charge but it took me over a hour and i only got 3/4 complete so i gave up and cut the rest with scissors as short as i could and then shaved. I am now sitting in a coffee shop the first time in public sly i was nervous i would get stares, but no one is even looking at me twice its a very invigorating experience. next up seeing my friends/ class mates for the first time in 4 months and newly sly

Well done.
Aren't you glad you did it now instead of waiting another two months!?
Enjoy your new style and be proud of yourself.
-
thanks Frontier Guy it does feel good i was very nervous to walk around in public with no hair on my head
-
Congrats on getting it done earlier than you first thought! It looks awesome, so if anybody says a negative word, they are either jealous or just like to hear themselves spew venom.
-
thanks slymyke i can't stop rubbing my head
-
Looks great! The beard only adds to the sly look. Congratulations.
-
Congratulations, it does look good, and the beard helps. But expect it to take some time for friends and family to adjust.

Thanks guys

Looks good! I need to shave mine now!
do it man it feels great

good job, looks good! Nobody in public will care, except the curious person that wants to touch it sometimes. Right after I shaved for the first time, I just put my photo up on Facebook and said my new summer haircut. Got nothing but positive comments.
Good luck, I hope you enjoy being shaved bald, I sure do.

I realized after i was out and about for a wile I had several missed spots with mall but visible hair patches so i had to go buy some disposable razors to fix the mistake. to my defence i shaved late last night when tired and as i said before i had some trouble with my trimmer

Great job man! You look great. :)

Well done on taking the big leap to sly! Invigorating is exactly how I felt when I first did the deed! Enjoy your new found freedom from hair!
-
Well done. It is a bit of a bummer after all the expectation that no one really notices the change.
-
Nice! It looks good on you. I don't think a bald head gets too much attention out and about the general population these days.
-
Looks good, nice beard!
-
You look great ! Keep shaving every day or two to give it a chance and see how you like it. Reminds me Im due for a shave tonight :) I love the totally smooth feel of my shaved head !
-
Looks good. I hope you're enjoying it.
-
Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it all. One of the best pieces of advice I picked up from the group was not to obsess about the rough patches. Nobody else will see them, and you can catch them the next time. After a few shaves, things even out.
Welcome again
-
They where not just rough patches they where about the length of a #1 guard and sticking up very visible I could see the at a glance in the mirror
-
Looks great, hang in there for 30 days by then you won't be worried what any one thinks.
-
The trick with shaving go by feel more than by sight. Hard to miss spots that way.
-
I'm going to blame it on frustration tiredness and just wanting to get it done for the misses spots and believe me that won't happen again I'm not shaveing tonight so I can have a nice morning shave tomorrow
-
Congrats, looks great!
I hope you will keep it.
-
LOL. I'm chuckling at the responses. My feelings exactly first week I shaved my head. Brings back nice memories.
Missed spots. Thinking that everyone would be looking at me. Rubbing my head all the time. Checking out the new look in the mirror. (Is that really me?) Jumped the gun. All of that.
Looks good. And I can guess that you are probably thinking, "Why did I wait so long?" "What was the big issue?"
Welcome. Let us know how halloween goes. I often get comments about looking like the guy on Breaking Bad.
