Title: Three bald men
Post by: Mike E. P. on August 21, 2014, 09:54:19 PM: I returned to school today (I'm a teacher) to find that they hired another guy. In our elementary school there are not many of us. An added bonus is he 's a sly guy. So now there are six of us (four teachers and two custodians) and three of us bald. 50 percent is a nice ratio. Oh, and three of us are named Mike.

I think he was checking out my slick dome a few times, and this week(6th week) he showed up with a freshly shaved head. Even had a nice shine to it.

You are a "shining" example and good role model! Strength in numbers, I always say.

Dan, no other earrings. I did get a few comments yesterday, much along the lines of mid-life crisis jabs. All in good humor. I replied that if this is in reaction to mid life crisis, then I got off easy. It could be a lot worse. A few times I just informed them I thought I needed another hole in my head.

Exactly what I thought when I first read this thread, Mike.

You guys might even stage your own Be Bald Day event on October 14.

Well, we could all use another hole in our heads! LOL. Good to hear that you did not get flack for your new earring. It looks good on you.

And I just realized this week, another one of our custodians wears a very tight buzz - just a shadow of hair - not sure if we would consider him sly, but he's pretty close. So counting him, that would be four out of six.
