Title: Tyler was right
Post by: RadicalTaoist on July 15, 2014, 03:29:15 PM
I saw a post about head waxing and the video Tyler put up, and I knew the price of head waxing but I figured my balls are big enough to give it a try... hellish mistake. I used some Veets Wax Strips on my whole head except for the tied lock in a cup on the back. I had to bite down on a rag halfway through. My whole head is red now with little bloody dots. I'm never doing it again, I'm just going to buy an epilator.

I tried Veets strips on my back once. The pain was ridiculous. Also tried Nair for Men on my chest. Didn't read the label going in - just stathered it on. My nipples felt like they were on fire. I thought for sure they were going to disintegrate. I  am over my hair removal stage - now just head and face and only with a razor!

I have been both waxed and lasered.

Lasering is much less painful but it does not work on hairs that have already turned grey.  The laser needs the color in the hair to bring the light down into the follicle where it heats up and burns the follicle.

lasering works really well on fine hair such as underarms, but the hair face, shoulders and arms is far more course and requires many treatments

I took the Nair route on my chest once with mixed results. Overall, I liked the look but not the chemical burns.

1) Can you call my wife and tell her I was right for once?

2) Sorry for your pain, but this thread is hilarious.

Tyler, I just need a phone number.  Oh, I forgot. I don't call the wife of another guy.
