hi everyone, i'm norwood 3 and really tired of the hair loss and will shave these days. i really wanted to have some feedback from guys who will get itXD cause here everyone tells me i should not
shave cause i will look way worse.anyway also i'm allergic to shaving cream, are there any that are more natural? thanks!

Welcome.
As you wrote that you are "tired of the hair loss" that suggests you should take control and do something different. So many guys have found that shaving it off is a huge relief. And others, such as myself, shave simply because we prefer the look or the lack of maintenance required. So I add my support and encouragement to your plan to shave.
Friends and family will frequently tell you not to because they are afraid of losing the person they know. They don't understand the inner turmoil hair issues cause. Oddly, friends/family seem more opposed to head shaving (which can be quite easily reversed) than they would be to getting a tattoo which is far more permanent. It's a funny world. DO WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU.
As soon as you make the first pass with the razor ... which commits you to completing the first shave ... commit to the "30 Day Rule" to maintain the shaved look for 30 days. This gives you and the people around you time to become comfortable with the new you.
As for non-allergenic shave creams I can't help, but there are probably guys here who will add their suggestions. However, I would think that if you go to a health (foods) store they likely have organic varieties which would be suitable.
Again, welcome. I hope you will post regularly so we can share your experience of cutting hair issues out of your life.

thanks i will put a pic as soon as i shave. i am worried also for these things people keep telling me. that i might not get used to being bald, that being pink on top might stress me out even more,
that u don't automatically feel more attractive and less insecure. and worse that once u shave u will look super White on top and it will look sick and everyone will know u just shaved.
i was hoping that by
taking the sun for like 4 hours the skin would look good. they told me it takes even 2 weeks. any suggestions on how it actually works? thanks!

For a natural shaving cream try Pacific Shaving Cream or Pacific Shaving Oil.

Hello Robeferra,
I am also dealing with hair loss, so I know what you are feeling. I won't tell you if you should shave your head or don't, because I consider that that's your own decision (even though I think a bald head is 10 times more stylish than a balding one).
What I really want to point out is that people often don't know what hair loss feels like, the main problem for me is that it is a process, not a single point in time. For some people balding is bleh, just a thing in life so they don't struggle with the process. Unfortunately for us (including myself and I suspect yourself), is not that easy, probably because we are too young to accept that, or because we were too attached to our hair, and watching how every day the condition get worse is frustrating.
What I want to say? That other people don't have to live with hair loss in their heads (metaphorically and physically speaking :D ) so they are not the ideal person to tell you if you should or shouldn't shave. Don't get too influenced by what other people opine about this topic, and embrace what you really believe is the best way.

thanks u are totally right! that is why i decided to ask here. noone gets what it's like to loose hair eeryday more than normal. they think it's like what happens to them annd that you are exagerating

Robeferra,
I could be wrong (and please someone speak up if I am), but you could probably get away with using a aloe gel instead of a shaving cream.
I use this stuff called shave butter instead of a shaving cream, because I always feel like Im waisting shaving cream when I use it, and I like how the shave butter feels once Im done.
The shave butter is a Dollar Shave Club product, but it might have an ingredient that your allergic to. Im not sure. So I would recommend a Aloe Gel. Shoot, I might even give that a try myself.

it sounds like a really good idea! thanks i will look into it

Ksshane is right!! Aloe vera gel can be used to shave your head, and it works great.
That could be the right option for you!

You look totally "normal." Sorry if that's a disappointment :-)
Now, enjoy the carefree life.

hi thanks. but everyone i know keeps saying how bad i look and to make it grow back fast(they keep missing the point that i have less and less on top)
but is it true i look bad or it's because it's really only a new look and i look weird? i don't mind looking uglier cause i like it and it's the only solution i want. but i'd like to know if they are the problem, like as in assholes who don't get it, or if it's objective that i look bad and weird

That's why we have the thirty day rule....to give yourself and others time to get used to your new look. Don't let others get you down....The question is do you like it?
-
I see at least three problems here.
1) It was only TWO DAYS ago that you shaved. That is not long enough for anyone to become accustomed to a significant change.
2) You are giving WAY TOO MUCH power to the things other people are saying.
3) You are joining their chorus, using words like "weird" and "uglier" about YOURSELF.
As Sir Harry wrote just above, "Do you like it?" -- it's even too soon for you to know for sure, but I suspect you do like it. And as 30 days pass you will like it more and more because the look will be "you" and you won't be surprised when you see yourself in a mirror. You will notice how much easier it is to go through each day without worrying about hair loss and how people are looking at your BALDING head and is it worse today than it was yesterday?
Do not give power to others to control how YOU feel. Seriously, don't they have more important things in THEIR LIVES to worry about than your current hairstyle?
Lastly, don't incorporate negative terms into your thinking ... weird, uglier, etc. If may be difficult to shift immediately to "I look GREAT" but you can at least move to "This is a much easier look for me to maintain." I'm confident that by 30 days you'll be thinking, "A shaved head looks so much better for me than thin, disappearing hair."
30 days. Commit to it. Commit to being supportive (of yourself) and having an open mind and positive thoughts. You don't have to defend your choice of hairstyle to anyone else.
Let go of the stress. Begin living the freedom of the "new" you. A look which is consistent. Timeless.
I didn't see you before you shaved, but your "newly shaved" avatar photo looks just fine. If I were to meet you on the street you'd just be another person in the crowd.
Lighten up. Relax. Take a deep breath. And commit to 30 days.

You look good with the shaved head, not bad or weird. Anyone who told you you look bad or weird just might be an a__hole as you suspected!
-
thanks very true things. and mike thanks also, they probably are a holes, and they probably are the reason why most guys take long to shave.

"They" may also be jealous that you have the fortitude to take charge and alter your direction.
Regardless, you should have much pride in your actions.
