Promotions at minor league baseball games are far more interesting then major league games.
Last night, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (NY-Penn League) had county fair night. They had a cow milking contest, and served fair food (fair frys, funnel cake, etc.) at the concession stands.
Tonight is Bald is Beautiful Night. I would go if I didn't work night; they play only one mile from my home. Bald cap giveaway to the first 500 men in attendance. Should be the first 500 bald men! It's also Buck Night. $1 general admission, $1 hot dogs, $1 12oz beverages all night.
Any one else fans of minor league ball?

Not a true fan, Challenge, as I don't follow them religiously but have gone to a lot of Kane County Cougars here in Illinois. Boy, what a great experience. Awesome way for kids and families to view baseball too. Fraction of the cost, more interaction between kids and the players, just great fun. We make entire family outting of it...and that means 23 of us. I personnally enjoy being able to watch a game from the lawn and still having a great view of all the action.
