Hey everyone,

My thinning hair has been plaguing me for over a year now and it has got to the point where it's becoming extremely noticeable so it's time for it to go.  After my last class this friday, I'm going to start off just buzzing it with no guard and see how that looks, and then try the 30 days of sly shortly after.  I'm pretty insecure about all the usual things head shape etc. at the moment but I know that will pass with time.  I'm 24 but I still look like I'm 19.  Glad to have found this site.

Hi Benp:  Welcome to the sly fraternity.  Glad that you are with us.  Buzzing with a no guard is like hitting a double in baseball.  Once you start buzzing it, you will want to hit a dramatic game winning home run with a razor head shave.

It's great that you have a plan.  The guys (and gals) here are great, so be sure to ask any questions you might have.  Hopefully you'll enjoy being without hair as much as we all do!

So I went through with the plan and shaved my head pretty short.  It looks alright! I think I'm going to hold off on going full sly for now, but somewhere down the road I'll be joining everyone on here.
