I just recently joined and thought I would introduce myself. I was searching the internet for info on shaving one's head and alas, here I am. I have had a receding hairline for several years and I am also losing it on the back of my head and since I have been buzzing my hair for a long time I had been seriously considering shaving it. Well, yesterday I did it as my profile pic shows. What do y'all think?

We're a little biased about bald heads here, but your's does look good. Be sure and check out the 30 day rule, although it sounds like you are already convinced!
Before you know it, we'll be celebrating your 1 year anniversary of being SLY.
Stick around. Post often. There's a nice group of guys here. If you have questions about blades, razors, shaving creams and accessories, we've got some guys with lots of shaving experience here.

Thanks, gentlemen. I appreciate the kind comments. I have been buzzing my hair very close for several years so I have been used to an almost shaved dome so taking the next step was easy for me. As a matter of fact when I go to church tomorrow morning (I am a pastor) there will probably be people who will not even notice. :)

Same situation for me. I had been buzzing with no guard for years; when I finally razor shaved, my wife and kids didn't even notice. :P

It took my wife most of the day before she even noticed. I don't think she would have if my best friend hadn't said something about my hair (or lack of it). To be honest, I'd just as soon people not be surprised. Makes it feel more natural.

That's the way it should be.....It's good to know that we are now looking at sly as "just another haircut"..Compliments on a newly shaved head are still welcome though, IMO.
