You can slide your glasses on top of your head when you are not using them (sunglasses or eyeglasses) and not worry about messing your hair up. Pus I don't think a guy looks right with glasses on top of head unless it's shaved. I wear prescription glasses even though I don't really need them to see. I am in sales and I think it makes me look smarter/more prefessional and I slide them on top of my head all the time. This is look I never did when I had hair.
-
Yeah, I like that advantage considering I wear sunglasses almost everyday.
-
I wear sunglasses everytime I walk outside. Sliding on top indoors is a plus.

This is one of my biggest complaints with being sly. I hate having my sunglasses on top of my head and going to pull them down and them getting stuck on the way down. When I have a little hair the glasses slide easier. When totally sly I have to use 2 hands to pull them down. I guess if this is my only sly complaint then I am doing alright huh! d5c*

I'm with you there baldchief. I just think they look better ;) up there to begin with. I don't think glasses look good on top of a mans head w/ hair. I think it's because sly is more masculine and can pull it off.

I agree that I think the sunglasses on top of the head looks pretty cool on a SLY dome. But I've noticed with my metal framed glasses that it doesn't feel so good. Kinda scratches and feels uncomfortable. I've been thinking that I need to find a good pair with the plastic frames and that might be better. Anyone else notice this??? ???

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses so I NEVER slide them up! It is kind of a cool look, though. Ugabulldog, you have an interesting look going with your clean shave and glasses. Quietly confident, kind of an "Ed Harris " look. Suits you well .
I had a professor years ago who was bald (mpb fringe) who spent the entire lecture sliding his glasses up and down ... CONTINUALLY. Sweet guy. Sometimes you just spent the whole class watching him do that, instead of paying attention to the lecture . ....

Thanks John, you have a great sly look too.
-
Im with john on that one .. I have to wear eyeglasses everyday and i have those clip ons that came with my glasses..so ti sorta looks like i have normal sunglasses on ..but I want a really sharp looking pair....but i checked in on em and about 200 bucks...i think i will just keep ti sly with the glasses.....

I'm like John, very blind without glasses or contacts. I used to wear contacts but now I have to have bifocals. Plus I don't know if I could get bifocal contacts with my really strong perscription for farsightedness. But I have had glasses since 1st grade. I will have to put up a new avitar with the glasses.

i saw the pic of you with glasses (and hair ! ) in ChristianChromedomes. Actually thought you looked pretty good with hair, although you rock the sly look unquestionably.

I got tired of replacing my shades every time I turned around because the lenses were getting scratched... :*))
-
I'd definetley saying sliding glasses up suits Sly guys the most, with both eyeglasses and shades. My biggest problem is that I always get my shades smudged with the almond oil that I put on my noggin for shine and I am forever wiping them. :*))

how about this: bald guys and monoacles?

You could get a magnet subdermaly implanted under your scalp to hold it there... [on your scalp]

Just be careful not to stick your head near any sharp metal objects or a metal wall!
-
It'd also be hell at the airport! ;D

God Bless the TSA and their ultra sensitive metal detectors.
Last year at SFO I was randomly searched and unbelievably and allegedley, bomb making powder was found on my backpack!
After a 10 minute background check, I was free to go.
-
Don't even get me started on the TSA! I'd have to start a whole other forum for that.

Were you victimized buy a cavity search done by a 400 lbs. dike Ty? "I swear officer it's only Head Lube, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Tyler, be gentle there, I am currently in the process of being employed by the TSA, so I may be the one who has to check you through one day, >:D Ha!
Come to think of it, I sure would like one of them there clear HB's, maybe we can work something out? lol ;)

sounds like bribery to me. :x! is a DQ in order? >:D

Ok, ok , throw in one more (for Paulie), and mum's the word! lol. ;)
They've already checked me up the wazoo! I sure don't need no DQ, lol.
-
Joe will you be working at Sky Harbor?
-
Yep, I am looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be starting in October if all works out.
I'll keep a lookout for all you "sly" guys. ;) (especially the guy who talks to corpses, lol).

If you only knew how many times I've gone through airport security. :px
It's a cool that you got that job though. If you're working Sky Harbor, I'm sure I'll be through there in the next 6 months or so.
-
Of the 30 or so airports that I have been through in my travels throughout the world,Sky Harbor gets my top vote in terms of service, cleanliness, ease of check-in, and easiest to navigate. O0
Cancun International Airport is last on the list. There was actually a mule and farm tractor pulling the baggage carts. :-\

agree. advantage is that I can now have eyeglasses on my head and it looks kewl.
-
I ahve super sensitive eyes and I always were shades when the sun is bright, all summer most of fall and spring, and all winter.... so when i'm not using them i actualy wrap them around to the back of my head, and yes i get so many smart comments like you glasses are on wrong and what not..... but the back of the head is where it's at for storing sun glasses..... on the top of the head i think they look silly....
-
this works nicely for me as I love to take my glasses off at random intervals so it's sweet that they will stay up there if I choose to put them there.

Yep! I put mine on the back of my neck when they're not on my eyes...

My Maui Jim's cost big bucks. O:O
I'm not taking any chances with those shades and have them slide right off my slick bald dome. It may look cool, but I'm no fool when it comes to losing big bucks. 8)

My Oakleys stay firmly tied around my neck.
