Title: Florida Vacation
Post by: mrzed on February 05, 2014, 09:02:19 PM
Well, I'm 1/2 way though a week's vacation in Florida. First time I've taken a winter sun trip.  This is fantastic.  The sun is so bright. Enjoying the warmer weather and visiting some friends.

Will be catching up with Warhawk on Saturday for a SLY lunch!

I'm going to have to do this more often!

It's a real mood booster to get such bright sun in winter.

Been to Ft. Myers area and now in St. Petersburg.  Will be near Pensicola on the weekend before returning home.

Have fun!
So far, I plan to head down there around January 13, 2015 for a week. I plan to fly in to Tampa and visit some friends/genetic students down there for a few days and maybe see the zoo, then head to Miami for a couple days and maybe to the Florida Keys just to say I did it. Then I'll fly back home to the bitter cold.

It's been five years since I last was in Florida. Beautiful state.

Enjoy your stay.

Have fun while in Florida, MrZed.  It's a great state, if you look past it's problems :)

I'd like to come back in November for six weeks of brighter days to minimize Seasonal Affective Disorder (winter depression).  I can work remotely, as all of my work is on line or on the phone. Can work from any place with a decent internet connection.

Somewhat scouting for possibilities for next winter.

Mrzed,

Have a great time on your FlLorida vacation. We leave here on 2.17 for California and Arizona. I can't wait to hit  the road. I hope that we co not run into any big storms.
