I recently was talking with a Fellow BaldGuy and he told me that he didn't use moisturizer, he's BBC and said that he used to a long time ago but stopped using it a while back. He also told me that he had no problems with flaking or dry skin. I'm wondering if he is being honest with me? I assumed we all used moisturizer because of the simple fact of shaving. So now I'm wondering? Are there other BaldGuys that don't use moisturizer after shaving? And if you do what kind do you use?

I use moisturizer daily in the cold weather because my skin gets dry pretty easily. In the warmer weather, I skip days. Invery hot, humid weather, I don't use moisturizer at all.
Preferred moisturizers are Nivea Sensitive After Shave Balm and Bee Bald Smooth.

I rarely use such stuff. I used an after shave balm for the first two months or so, but once my scalp toughened up to being shaved daily, there was no irritation to speak of.
Even before I started shaving the horseshoe, my head never had a problem with flaking or dry skin.

I don't have much of a regimen either. I use a brush simply because I like the feel. Same goes with the moisturizer. I only use it occasionally and because I like the feel. My mother always said I had a thick head, so maybe that's why I don't need too much product ;D

I use AVEENO® Men's™ After Shave Lotion every day, even in between shaves. It's nice and cooling right after a shave and gives it a nice smooth feel.

I typically do use a moisturizer. I like the headblade products for matte and gloss. Sometimes I really like my dome to really shine (or i'll use aloe gel). during the summer, i'll use a moisturizer that has some sunblock in. you don't want your dome to burn!
but I've gone without moisturize at times, and did ok. but as a habit...I definitely use it.

Thanks for the feedback guys I really appreciate it, I use moisturizer everyday that I shave, maybe I might stray a little from the moisturizer and see what happens.

that's awesome to not have to use moisturizer, my head is pretty tough, been shaving for a long time maybe I'll skip the moisturizer for a while.

i recently tried beebald and I gotta say I liked it, I have my favorites but BeeBald is definately something I would use on a regular basis.

No moisturizer here, either. Once my scalp adjusted to being shaved every day I found I no longer needed it.

Similar here. Winter months it's a must (even in our very mild California winters). Summer doesn't require moisturizer as much.
